  1. Fine line food plots give him a ring ,might be to far. Great guy and Honest to !!
  2. Looks great!! how big are the turnip ? They started to hit (very very lightly) the brassicas WG TTT. The wt clover was destroyed !!!! in the last 25 days they have torn the clover up... insane.. once that frost hits expecting them to get after the brassicas the same way .If it's the first year with the plot they just have to get used to it ? kind if went threw that on my plot every year i see more activity.
  3. Clover looks good . First year for clover is goinG to look like that, brassicas look great . That dam milk weed in the pics is what pisses me off . I have been i WW3 on my plot with it and the sight of it makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Get that stuff in check Cutting helps it. And of course RR AND working the dirt a few times before you plant the brassicas next year . great little spot you have there ! good luck
  4. Corn is cool but the TTT you will probably find that the deer are going to love it more! Good luck
  5. Dam good job ! Lot of work breaking new / over grown ground . great that you planted a fall winter food plot .
  6. Maybe the ROUND UP was not hot enough? Two weeks is a good amount of time for it to get going. I always err on heavy side when I make a batch. going to be killing mine down in the spring and making that area a winter plot I need a few seasons working the soil in that part of the plot , will eventually be back in clover for good.
  7. Zag I felt the same way got the ttt in and wg 8-12 they looked good after 19 days will see . winter wheat will come up fast and you won't lose the ground for next year. ( aka soil prep ) Biologic ehh think about something else .
  8. I have a peach tree that I planted two years ago, looks like i might have lost it ? I Did spray round up near it ,none of it hitting the leaves and it looks like it might be gone It is about 6'. Apples are few and small acorns ARE LIGHT .....MIGHT BE A MILD WINTER ? YOU THINK THE ROUND UP HURT IT ?
  9. looks good the amount of work that goes into WLM is a labor of love. This what was done this year WG ,TT .19day after plantig .
  10. Great info on the round. I'm going to look that up lurk . don't get me wrong the gun even with the said weight bullet it is still shooting 1.25'' groups with a couple inside of each other.
  11. Thanks for the info splitlm , when I shoot the 115gr to 120gr my groups get a little spread out , still trying to dial it in with a round for deer size game , she has no prob droping deer with 95gr tho. now that we are a rifle zone I have to put in the bench time .
  12. just found this , cool nice to see the input on the round .
  13. just checked the cams they had a 20 day soak not many doe's, had mother with twins and that was pretty much it , my doe activity seems down from this time last year . this was my second pull the first one was not that busy either . The bachelor party was nice, one group of 5 bucks, 6pt up to a bad ass 8+ STILL STRONG WITH THE VELVET , also had some spikes , pic are on the way .
  14. Just was wondering how many guy's know about it . I set it up with a big piece of glass to do just that varmit ( yote's) to deer . I can get 120gr fatory loaded rounds in a very wide rang of bullet types. not a problem get the amo tho . I will say she scream's !

  20. Fan If you have a plan for the property to get logged and your looking 3+ years down the road (which BTW great way to think esp when it comes to food plots speaking from experience) you should have the logger def clear at least an acre, you have him there and you can work that out in the contract for the sale of the wood. Also if you have it spelled out in the contract you should not have much of a mess when they are done .Good luck !
  21. Let me know how it goes I wanted to use it as cover / food source but the chance of fighting weeds has turned me off for now .
