Pouring rain on my way down here, just a drizzle here though. I’m gonna walk in a little bit later as my cams have movement around 8 and I don’t feel like getting rained on waiting on the sun. Two hard blinds within 150 yards if it gets bad out.

Heading south of the border Tomorrow, have to deliver fundraiser stuff to my buddy so figured I’d hunt the am with a north wind.

Saw two doe this evening, just made fresh sausage, and WOW! Y’all need to try this. Half venison half pork 12lb batch.

The wind couldn’t make up its damn mind on a direction so I sat at my car and watched the field with a beer. Saw 5 doe this evening. No where near my bow stand lol

NE wind really jacks up my morning hunts, I decided to take the morning off, sons football then ill head out for an evening sit. Not gonna burn myself out this year like the last few years!

Tapped out seeing 7 doe. My first opening morning in idk how long I decided to pass on a doe lol, it was a perfect morning out here!

I wouldn’t say bigger, but their a hell of a lot more frequent. My pa spot is about a 40 minute drive with 25 mins in pa, one day coming back in the evening I counted 138 deer in pa, 2 in NY.

Well I’m up but it looks like weather from Ian is gonna push in here right at sunrise. Might be a short lived sit. 20-30 mph winds at 10-12, rain expected

Awesome, I've been working with my dog but he's not ready. I'm gonna take him for "walks" this year when make good shots on deer and see where he "walks" lol
