  1. To be honest, your statement, made in a vacuum, ie not directed at anyone, was somewhat confusing. It seemed to suggest that we not concern ourselves with the plans others make for us in terms of their desire to order society to their own ends. If I have it wrong, I apologize. But don't be afraid to direct your comments specifically in a given direction. It might save some confusion as to the purpose and intent.
  2. I don 't see why we can't do both. And knowing your enemy's motivations have to be a part of any reactive plan. Let me quote Sun Tzu, from his 'art of war'. “If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.” And if you think we are not at war in the modern world, I have some sea front property in Iowa I can sell you.
  3. They must have some fat dossier of filth on Roberts. It is the only thing that makes sense, in terms of him betraying his ideological background as often as he does.
  4. Limits have been in place for about two years now. How bad can the hoarding be at this point? Full disclosure. I haven't bought .22 in about 2 years, before the drought really set in. Thing is, people where sayin it was coming long before it actually hit, so once a week I would buy a brick. I have several thousand rounds now, but I got 'em all when there was no apparent shortage. I see no improvement locally, I do look from time to time, usually everyone is out, but even if I see a stray box of cci I just can't be bothered. I have moved onto different calibers now. From what I am hearing here, we have a distribution problem. Not a hoarding problem.
  5. Is 'hoarding' really hurting if stores are limiting purchases? Makes no sense unless folks are turning up with 5 or 6 other family members.
  6. Leftist social justice warriors will not stop until they have remade society in their own image.
  7. Your asking Steve to think outside the box. Dangerous. Uncharted territory.
  8. Poverty and social deprivation. We need to ban both poverty and social deprivation, pronto.
  9. They won't just stop with a flag. Be assured: CNN Host Suggests Taking Down ‘Racist’ Jefferson Statues https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JoauvIx5cWc

  11. I take it then you missed the entire point. Good. You and Espresso can take the table at the back of the class-room from here on out.
  12. If we just get rid of all flags, than we can be done with this whole notion of what a flag may or may not stand for, depending on who has appropriated it, or what people feel things may or may not represent. Then we will be one step closer toward eradicating offense from society for good.....or not.
  13. Obama And Hillary Both Had No Problem Using Confederate Flag During Presidential Campaigns , Obama had his own Confederate flag campaign badge, which states “Where the confederate flag still flies, we have built a powerful coalition of African Americans and white Americans.” The quote was taken from Obama’s racially heated speech in 2008, during which he also praised his mentor former pastor the controversial Reverend Wright. Obama was not alone in using the symbol of the Confederate flag, synonymous with the South, to solicit political support. Hillary clinton had her own brand of Confederate merchandise in 2008.
  14. Lets see if we can dispel some of the cognitive dissonance that seems to be in vogue round these here parts. Some of you have welcomed the 'debate' surrounding a 'racist' flag. Now apart from the practical implausibility of a thing being racist, I wonder if the self same folk would also welcome a debate about dissolving the Democratic party due to it's previous racist behavior? I suspect that would a leap of logic too far. Did you know the KKK was created by Democrats? http://www.prisonplanet.com/rebel-flag-controversy-why-not-just-ban-democratic-party-for-its-links-to-racism.html/print/

  17. Amusing statement from you, of all people, the random linker to unread articles. very amusing.
  18. I don't see a debate. I see one sided calls for it's memory-holing. Just another angle in the racially charged baiting we see in the'regular' news
  19. Another mass shooting in Detroit. No whitey involved this time, so we won't be hearing too much about it. At least not with the same degree of outrage. Doesn't fit the racially divisive narrative. http://www.mlive.com/news/detroit/index.ssf/2015/06/9_shot_on_detroit_basketball_c.html
