  1. Like I really believe anything Bloomberg says or does. http://www.nytimes.com/video/2013/03/23/nyregion/100000002134455/mayors-against-illegal-guns-ad-responsibilities.html
  2. Well it is still legal to purchase and do a transfer of a Striped Lower for a AR-15 in NY. What you do with it after you get it another thing. The law states a Assault Weapon has to have 1 feature, a stripped lower has no features and when is transferred and called in listed as other.
  3. Well not sure if anyone has read some of the lawsuits. The new law as it states will make all pump shot guns illegal in NY under the NY Safe Act. A pump Remington 870 can hold 10-13 - 1.75 shotgun shells. I did not know this but 1.75 shells are popular in Europe and protection here.
  4. No you will still be able to buy 10 round mags after 4/15 but can only have 7 bullets in them.
  5. Its funny you posted this, this just appeared on Syracuse.com.It states he used a AR-15 then a pistol to kill himself. The average little people like us will never know the real truth. http://blog.syracuse.com/opinion/2013/03/everyone_who_claims_adam_lanza.html#incart_river_default
  6. Yep, so not really a huge deal. Just shows that pressure has been working, and there are signs that the law is cracking.
  7. Looks like some of NY Safe act is starting to crumble. http://www.syracuse.com/news/index.ssf/2013/03/silver_gun_magazine_bullet_lim.html#incart_river_default
  8. Wow, I just did a quick read of this, and after reading it, it really makes the NY SAFE ACT so loose in wording and vagueness, I really don't see how this can not be tossed out. They have a couple of plaintiffs, that are disabled and this new law suit. Also they law is vague about a grip protruding below the action. What constitutes protruding ? Its well worth the read. I may print all 46 pages out to read it more.
  9. I just read the article from the fox new link a few post about. There in one thing in there that really sticks out The measure is part of a four-pronged approach established by the governor's office to reduce gun violence in urban communities, according to CBS6Albany.com. It says four-pronged approach, so what are the four-prong's? This just seems to point out this has been planned for along time, and was just waiting for the right time to release a prong.
  10. Funny how this was launched a year ago, and never mentioned any where. This just make it look more and more like Cuomo, has planned this for a long time. Had everything sitting there and waiting to just the right moment. If the program has been in use for over a year, I am sure Cuomo would have broadcast it, if this program brought in 1000's of illegal guns. I would like to see just how many illegal guns this program has brought in
  11. One thing I am worried about, you will get people happy because their Rugar 10-22 would be legal now, and say oh this law is good enough for me now. Well you still can only put 7 bullets in the magazine .
  12. Well I know is not really a huge deal, but now the state is considering changes. This would lead me to believe that there is something in there they are going to reword or ad. I don't think its a good thing. But this may give a judge, to atleast look into issueing a injunction and rule on how this law was passed. Since before King Cuomo said there will be NO CHANGES. http://fingerlakesdailynews.com/news/details.cfm?clientid=16&id=69870#.UUmRbldkh8E
  13. Well I just got a call from a gun dealer saying to come pick up my stripped lower receivers.
  14. He Cabin, there is a dealer named Gene Lane in the Watkins Area. He has been around for years. It really depends on what you have also. Here is a website to look up just the value of the silver or gold in a coin. http://www.coinflation.com/
  15. You don't have to register a stripped lower as it has none of the scary assault weapons features. Its also listed as other when it is sold.
  16. 20. Here is page 18, it looks like the crossed alot of this out. Problem is no one really knows how to read and understand this Act. Everyone reads it a different way.
