That's another good point. One spot I hunt in 20 years hunting there I have never seen a buck outside the ears always "scrub" bucks seen some clearly older but still small 6s and 8s...as opposed to fingerlakes deer that can be 1.5 8s Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

I have Samsung note 5 with otter box. Idk how but didn't crack case or anything. But busted screen. But it's just a thin plastic layer 9ver screen. I'm assuming it mush have hit the roots just right. I've dropped everywhere crashed dirtbike with in pocket never a issue. Just pure bad luck that it broke I guess. Just glad it didn't trash whole phone bc I don't have inaurance. 910 am I noticed a doe walking down the path right to me. I stood up and heard something drop outta tree. Figured was one of my antlers for rattling. Anyway doe didn't even flinch walked right down the path 20 yards in front of me I whistled she stopped and arrow shot true. She took 2 steps and dropped. Awesome I'm pumped filling tags with the new bow. Go to get my phone and text dad and wife....no phone. Looked down and there it is at base of tree. No biggie so I get down to get phone and process deer. Pick up phone screen is broke buttons won't work nothing works. Now I'm p^&%*$*... so I gut her get back to truck and drop of to processor on way to phone place 100 bucks and few hrs later I have a new screen and phones working. No pics obviously. Finally made it to my favorite spot. Never killed a deer here but I know I will eventually. Wind is good not great but decent enough for today. I'll keep some doe pee and tarsal in the air....put some evercalm out around me too. That's kind of the point rob is no one here really "needs" to hunt to eat we all want to. Some more than others and I think that plays a major factor in what each will kill. I just wondered what caused some to wait longer or be more choosy than others. The littlest deer in the county gets my blood pumping the same as the biggest buck.
