    I smoke in my tree stand pump gas in my boots and pants ride my quad within a few 100 yards of where I'm hubting go in at first light not any sooner and have seen deer every time I've been out and have very few times a year where I don't. I do try and play the wind and do use scents. I personally think it's more about where you hunt most land I think the deer smell enough human scent that they don't notice the little extra we put in when hunting. I believe getting busted by a deer is more bc of movement or maybe the wrong cover scent used. Not saying it doesn't happen but I don't think scent has as much to do with it as company's lead us to believe Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

    Portville and hinsdale olean area seem to be picking up nicely scrapes staying clean daily and seen a few fresh kills on the road. Just pick up deer from processor and he had a few nice ones hanging. Won't be long now Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

    It's called sportsmanship I don't own the deer or the stateland I hunt why shouldn't xbow guys be able to hunt early season as well...you entire stance is your afraid of competition. That's it you can't stand the thought of 1 more person being out there durring archery. No wonder why the antis have so much leverage against us we can't even get a common sence law passed amongst ourselves....maybe the next generation will learn that we all are in it together bc clearly we have not figured it out yet Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

    I hunt private as well as public and choose to hunt public some days especially toward end of season and late muzzle. State land gets such a bad wrap from guys I've been hunting it 15 years or so and never once have I had a problem. And I've killed alot of deer in it. Last post wasn't directed at you either.     Your point is not valid I hunt as much stateland as anyone here all season practice all season shoot very well with compound and I am pro xbow so it's not a valid argument just bc you don't want the extra guys to make your hunt harder lol Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

    Not true...I practice as much as many and am very confident in my ability 2 dead deer this season both dropped within feet 1 dropped in spot and I am very proud to be pro xbow...so just bc we are about sharing the woods and allowing more hunters in the woods to enjoy the season doesn't mean we can't shoot vert equipment as well as the next guy.     Shoot my mom is a professional baker in Canandaigua I'll give her my phone for a few hrs when I see her next.
