Well just checked some topics for crossbow hunting.Some bow hunters are doing the same thing over there that they did here . If a person does not agree with them or says something against them he is attacked and called stupid and ignorant.Ye t so many on here said bow hunters do not do that. Who knew? Oh wait I did. They are over there talking about crossbow hunting they way I did bow hunting yet it's ok for them and wrong for anyone else. Intelligence squared is still intelligence ignorance squared is humanity

If it is ridiculous then why did I get any attention at all?You could have just ignored instead you guys start right in degrading and discrediting.I never said thye were older deer oldest deer I have in the pics is 3 1/2 most are 1 1/2 .nice antler size doesnt mean old deer . Doc bow hunters started calling themselfs elite,bow hunters are the ones who cry shorten gun season make it all bow season.It is bow hunters who complain that gun hunters are all brown and down trigger drunks.Bow hunters cry about anything the dec trys to to to help our sport as a whole.If it doesnt futher a bow hunting agenda then you guys are against.Tell me how cross bows or a 2 day youth hunt hurts your hunting when you have 6 weeks.By the way I have nothing against bow hunting at all as I said I use to bow hunt.I loved being out that time of year still do just dont carry bow anymore.I stopped when mor and more people started getting into bow hunting and all the crying started. Gun hunters wouldnt mind cross bow dureing gub season you can already use a muzzle loader,rifle.bow,pistol,and shotgun during regular gun season and gun hunters have no prob with it.If dec wants to take 2 days from gun season for a youth hunt then gun hunters would say great,not all but most. Oh and bow hunters are the ones who yell antler restriction are needed or a one buck limit,or that are not any big bucks.When ask a bow hunter why ar he says it will help heard ask how he says it will make bigger racks.Then the gun hunter will say trophy hunting.Bow hunter will say no.Out of all the pics I posted the oldest is 3 1/2 3 are 2 1/2 and the rest are 1 1/2.Aged by dec biolgest.The oldest is the one with garfield on it the shoulder mount is only 2 1/2 .If we listen to bow hunters these are all but ony too young to shoot and ar will only let you shot older bucks.Not many guys on here would have let any of them walk.Also back when most of these bucks were gotten it was common to see and shoot bucks of this size.It wasnt special to see deer like this it is now bow hunters will tell you they dont see bucks like this because gun hunters shoot them all when they are yearlings.Just because a gun hunter shoots a spike or 3 point doesnt mean it is a young deer nor do 12 points mean old deer.I have noticed that with the rise in popullarty of bow hunting we have seen a decline in deer and nice bucks and a rise in crying.Again I am not against bow hunting just the atitude of todays bow hunter.If I or any other gun hunter[and for the record I am not a gun hunter I am a hunter period] are wrong in the way think about bow hunters then why not try to change the way we think? Not one bow hunter in here has tried to change my thinking.I made a statement and said why I thought that way.I expected to have people trying to change my thinking.Not one bow hunter has tried to do that.If I am uneducated and informed then why not try to educate and inform me.Nope the first thing a bow hunter does is degrade and discredit anyone who thinks differently then they do.We are all hunters and there are a holes who carry all weapons we should come together as a whole sport not fight as bow hunter and gun hunter.As you can see by how all this went some hunters seem to want the devide.I made a statement and have been attacked from the start .Why not just descuse it and try to change peoples minds

Only a couple serious answers .Typical of most of today's bow hunters.Avoid the topic by degrading the one who brought it up. There must be some truth to what I said other wise you all would have argued your side.Instead you instantly took to trying to degrade me, funny how that works.If you were truly the elite as you like to think then you would have tried to change my mind. Just proofs my point about most of today's bow hunters. Sogaard how many deer are dropped dead in there tracks with a bow? a lot less then with a gun I bet. G-Man are you saying gun hunters don't do those same things? If so you are wrong there are plenty out there that do and who know there pray as well or better then a bow hunter.As for new hunters starting with a gun.For many years they have been able to start bow hunting long before gun.It was not until resent years that you could hunt deer with gun before you were 16.

I should have said 80% of the bow hunters I have met.Yes we all have opinions and one was formed of me because I said something the bow hunters did'nt like that is fine.When ever someone says things that others dont like yet cant proof wrong they are labeled a troll. I dont get my opinion from books or shows like most people do.I am out in the woods year round and see many things.My opinion is formed from what I see all year not by getting in the woods for one week while I am hunting and then watching a show with farm grown bucks and reading articals by people who sit in a office all day every day.I am either in the woods or working which is where I am going now have a good day

If asking question on a subject that everyone else wishes to avoid is being a troll then yes.I still have not seen anyone explain why bow hunters have too put down every other form of hunting.My grammar improved to prove a point.I was dumb because of the way I typed and the grammar I used.When I changed that I was still dumb and needed to show prof that I was a serious hunter I showed that and still get attacked and labeled a trouble.Seems no matter how someone types,talks or proves things to some if you do not agree with them they write you off.I post prof and get sarcasm.I change my grammar I get sarcasm.In most circles asking things like I have gets people talking about it when normally they would'nt. So tell me how hard bow hunting is.I never said I wait for the deer and then walk to my stand> I wait for them to start feeding then Walk slowly out to them in the field>I never used a stand or blind when I was bow hunting

My post was not an attack.I simply stated facts about today's bow hunters and wounder why they are against every other kind of hunting. They are always the ones crying and wanting antler restriction and shorter gun season with longer bow season. I have read this on many hunting sites and other forums. from what I have read and heard 80% of all today's bow hunters are that way. If I was on welfare what would that matter? Does a person have to have money to be a serious hunter? So I cant type big deal.For the record I banked $65,000 last year. Not sure if I did this right so if I posted the pics wrong Let me know how to do it right.If this is right and you can see the pics 7 of them are with bow and 3 with gun.Sorry for my ignorance with computers if I have done this wrong.I hope this shows I am a serious hunter.That is if I posted them right.I know some will say all it proves is that I can take a picture though.Thats ok

I never said was an English major. I do not take the time to space and punctuate,or even spell correctly when I type. However everyone must have understood what I was saying as they are talking about it.I am thankful that I found a hunting forum where i can get English lessons. Thank you No matter how clearly I stated my thought I would still have been called names and told I was stupid. Funny how I am asked to prove that I have shot big bucks in order for you to take me seriously yet the only thing you prove is that you can call people names. Atleast some of what I said must be fact or I would not have gotten the name calling,must have hit a nerve. Bow hunting is easy I bow hunted for years found it boreing and without challange.That is why I stoped bow hunting.Only bow hunters say it is hard because they want to make it sound like they have special skills.I will agree it is a little harder then when I carried a bow but only because in most areas there are less deer .I have to say over the last 15 years the bow hunting population has gone up and deer pop has gone down.I know everyone will be saying I stoped because I couldnt do it.That couldnt be farther fron the truth.Dureing bow season deer are stupid you even get the rut that makes bucks dumber.I hunted open fields innevening waited for them to come out to feed picked the one I wanted then crouched low and walked to deer stand and shoot.Stay low move slow the dont pay you much attention.By the time gun season comes around they are getting there smarts back and after the first weekend they go nocturnal which makes it even harder.I am not against bow hunting but the bow hunters are the ones that do most of the crying and act like they are special.They are also the majority that trophy hunt for decorations.Take me serious or not Bow hunters are the only ones that have a problem with the truth

Why do bow hunters do so much complaining about other forms of hunting?Every place I look they are against the youth hunt because of when it held.They are against crossbow in there their season they want their season longer and gun shorter.I use to bow hunt stopped when mor people started bow hunting because all the crying started.Bow hunters want people to think it is hard takes alot of work.It is easy that time of year deer are extra dumb I hunted with a bow no chalange.Never needed more then 1 week to tage out.Isnt the thing to do when hunting is to try for a quick clean kill.A Bow gives you 100% chance of tracking no matter how good your shot.Now the deer is running with stick in it bleeding and suffering and mabey get lost.Not saying gun is !00% but you can make a good shot kills deer and drops in tracks no running suffering or loseing.I am not against bow but why are bow hunters against everything outside of there own world,

jjb I believe you would 2 !/2 acres on either side of you that would give 520 feet either side.so if i am right you would need 9 acres.could be wrong though

Merlot where in wyoming county I hunt from bliss to portageville .Travel from Arcade to portageville every weekend.I see no decline in turkey.As for the wind mills I hunt within yards of them in bliss and they do not bother the turkey.Have shoot quite a few long birds under windmills.Not argueing just telling you what I have experienced.Now deer that is different if you say where are the deer i agree.I use to see 40 to 50 deer in my trip from arcade to portage now if Isee 4 or 5 I am supprised
