  1. Very beautiful bird! She looked like she was about to slice in her Genny endorsment pic! LOL
  2. The second pic posted by Joseph is correct. Call BS all you want. Being from NYC, you must have a slough of friends that frequent Delaware county. So just have them ask the locals, you'll get your answer. I have a family member who's a NYCDEP officer who patrols the cannonsville reservoir area and she's never called BS on it. If you'll also notice, the place is uphill from the NYC watershed. Could you imagine if they truly don't have sanitation. EEEW! NYC would be better off getting it's drinking water outta the East river or the Hudson! Maybe that's Delaware Countys' way of getting back at NYC for coming in during the 1960's and flooding the town that was once called Cannonsville(where my grandpa lived and worked), along with numerous other towns all just to build the watershed. Take that city slickers! LOL I'm sure the Govt.'s sattelites could zoom in to see the Aaron Neville on their faces, so maybe they are under surveilance...?
  3. It might explain the recent upswing in drug activity in Delaware County. Fully auto rifles? Yep, still illegal. Magazines with over 7 shot capacity? Also now illegal. (If) they don't have proper sanitation, then that is probably against the law as well. The informant described battery and abuse, that's not legal. While these are still assumptions, they are not all unfounded. The guards being armed is reason enough to have them looked into.
  4. Would that be the one on Roods creek rd.? It is very true! The automatic gunfire was heard by guys working on the millenium pipeline. The guards at the gate are armed. The vanloads of them often enter the town of Deposit. Their children are homeschooled and the Town of Deposit has to proviode their literature. I was told by my grandfather that they don't even have plumbing. I'm in the Deposit area very frequently as I have alot of family there and the townspeople are very aware of the "islamburg". The place can be viewed on google earth. Just go to Roods creek rd. and look for the compound. Ya can't miss it! So when will their weapons be checked, registered, confiscated?
  5. I usually leave spots like that for the wee hours of morning when car traffic is at it's minimum. They can be pretty bold, you'd be surprised of how close to civilization they will venture. Always play the wind, you cannot fool their nose.
  6. That 00buck will put em' down. What's your effective range with it? Have you tried #4 buck?
  7. As far as poisonous stuff around here, mushrooms are very plentiful and most are highly toxic if not fatal. I know of some edible kinds that I pick and eat, but some I wouldn't even think of eating. G-Man, I hope your clams turn out to be delicious! That would make for a great summer! Clams over the firepit, Yum!
  8. oh, and I also tried the little orange ones that look like peppers! Aaah to be young and carefree! lol
  9. What are they called and what are they? I did the same thing while fishing back when I was 14 or 15 years old and I do remember feeling kinda sick from it.
  10. Good job! Nice yote! Oh btw, what's the blood on it's hip? LOL just kidding! Keep it up, you guys sure are stackin' em'! What's your season record?
  11. Thanks guys. It's paint and someone keyed it the other day. Talk about fuming mad!
  12. I'm with ya totally on being a history buff. I've actually been to that link in the past while doing research. There's tons of history in dem hills! It's awesomly interesting, to say the least! Did your friend also do a tv series titled, Cellar Holes Of The East?
  13. Lol, yeah he said he needed $ for his kids so I went ahead and bought it. I added the light myself. I just thought you looked kinda familiar. Which is possible since I've been here all of my 29 3/4 years. Nice yote! HOUNDS77, good job on them yotes!
  14. I whacked this male last night just outside of J.C., so that makes 2 of us. As a matter of fact, did you sell a .22mag last year? like the one in the second pic?
  15. Thanks guys, I kiyi'd one of the survivors back in after the shot, but he wouldn't stop. Winchester 40gr.JHP's are lethal!!!
  16. First set of the night. There were 3 yotes. The first one got to 30yds before I dropped him. I'll be back for the surviving 2 next week!
  17. There is a good forum that I belong to. It's called TreasureNet. There's quite alot of members from NY.
  18. I stick to foundations(cellar holes) and desolate "ghost towns". I dont like detecting parks and have never detected on a beach. I find some neat stuff, but not super valuable. A few 1800's coins here and there, some foriegn coins, jewelry. To date, my best find was a surface find. It was a sterling silver cigar box that was washed up in flood debris. It netted me a quick $200 from a local gold/silver buyer
  19. That's cool you have some antlered guests! I was a bit surprised 2 nights ago to see a fully antlered 5pt. while out coyote hunting.
  20. I haven't heard of it, but I'm a hand call guy(for now). Doesn't sound like a bad price. Keep us updated on what you find out about it.
