  1. As this is my first year hunting, with a bow at that, I can't wait to get my first bird. I'm like a kid on Christmas eve. All I keep hearing is man, turkeys with a bow, your not going to have much success. I've read everything I could get my hands on, watched countless videos, scouted and scouted, and been shooting religiously for 8 months now. Alls I have to do is execute what I've learned. I'm pumped! Can't wait to prove the naysayers wrong.
  2. That's awesome. Congrats! Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk
  3. You do not need bow hunting privilege for small game. To answer your question then, technically no you don't need a bow hunting class. But your in a grey area here. My advice, call them, ask to speak to an officer and be straight a bout it. It doesn't make sense that you could bow hunt without the class being done. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk

  5. Yea its private property. I'm almost certain they're roosted there. I'm glad I asked, I didn't know they could be bumped out of the area. I'm just gonna hit the owl call, shut up and observe for the morning. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk
  6. This is my first year hunting. Ive done my scouting and located at least 2 males about 130-180 yards from where I'm going to setup. (Bow hunting from a blind) They're roosting along a creek and I believe they're coming right by me to hit a nearby field. Tomorrow I'm gonna sit out there as if I was hunting till probably 10-11am. Here's my question. If they don't come by me should I go to where I think they are roosted and look for proof they're roosted there? or just leave em be? If I should go look for proof should I do it in the afternoon or mid-morning? Not sure if this matters but this flock has been spotted all April. 25+ birds, the area has never been hunted, ever.
  7. Was scouting last weekend heard 2 different toms. They're roosted along a stream about 100-150 yards from where I can set up. Going to scout again Saturday and try to get close enough to sneak a peek. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk
