Way to go I remember my sons first deer also a spike I believe he was 14 and was during gun season we got a head mount done and still to this day I see him smile almost every time he looks at that young buck and your right no hunt can ever replace the feeling you got that moment you new your son for his first deer...again congrats to the both of you Sent from my KYOCERA-E6560 using Tapatalk

Nothing huge but first buck in along time

No signs of any deer yet this AM rain stopped slightly windy squirrels up to there usual saw a small 3pt yesterday here in 4F hoping to see something nice today good luck all

My husband loves to hunt during bow season actually prefers it over using a rifle or shotgun. In 2006 while at work lost his footing on muddy steps the result is he has four crushed discs in his lower back and doesn't get much time to hunt due to the pain and can not pull back a compound bow anymore. He just got a crossbow for his birthday this year and has limited time to use it. Does anybody know if he can get a hunting exemption to be able to use it for all of bow season?

hi all new to this site but I have been reading many interesting posts and pics many of u have shared. I am an avid hunter although haven't taken a deer in several years. I have hunted the same tree stand for about 3 years now and although the last two years were very productive with both sex of deer this year I haven't seen one deer. I have seen many on my trailcam but they are all before legal hunting hours. Any suggestions? It seems they have all gone nocturnal since opening day. Best of luck to you allin the woods
