  1. Dogman Do Exist You,ve Just Been Lucky You Haven,t Run Into One. Click on website thecloakedhedgehog ect. Page shows documented sighting. Click any one on the left side of this page. https://thecloakedhedgehog.wordpress.com/the-map/
  2. Cryptid Sightings And Reports Dogman sightings a growing phenomena August 15, 2016 By CyptoGuy 1 Comment Reports of Dogman sightings and encounters have seemingly been on the rise over the last few year and interest in the elusive cryptid has definitely grown. The Dogman also commonly known as the “Michigan Dogman” has long been a controversial subject in and around Cryptozoology circles and the increased interest in the creature has prompted even more questions. The majority of the sightings of dogman have come from Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin although encounters from other states have also been documented. The most frequently asked question in terms of the Dogman is what kind of creature is it exactly. It has been described by many as a large humanoid creature covered with hair with large pointed ears and a long pronounced snout traveling on two and four legs. It’s often said to have multiple parallels to that of the werewolf. According to Dogman researchers and enthusiast, the creature is also often mistaken for the other popular cryptid known as Bigfoot. Sightings and reports of both creatures often contain similar details but the two creature are not one in the same. It is believed some sightings of the Dogman may mistakenly be reported as Bigfoot as both creatures can physically resemble each other with Bigfoot being much more popular and well-known of the two. This makes mistaking the Dogman for Bigfoot a rather easy misidentification to make for witnesses. Even though these creatures are what many would expect a werewolf to look like and be described as most experts don’t consider them to be. More efforts are being made to investigate and research the Dogman phenomenon including various things like online podcasts and Youtube channels (Dogman encounters Youtube is a great one) which are dedicated to the elusive creature and there was even a recent Dogman symposium. Although many people believe the creature to be real skeptics are quick to point out the lack of scientific evidence to prove its existence. As is the same with many cryptids all of the Dogman evidenceto date consists mostly of controversial photos and videos along with years of eyewitness accounts. Skeptics believe the creature is nothing more than a myth and legend brought to life by a song made back in 1987. Some other even believe it may be some kind of paranormal or mythical beast. Dogman has been a subject of various investigations over the years and some of the evidence including dogman pictures and dogman videoswere featured in some interesting and entertaining programs. Here are a couple of dogman videos which examines and investigates some of the possible dogman proof discovered through years that you may or may. http://www.northamericandogmanproject.com/gallery.html
  3. On the You Tube researchers workshop on Bigfoot, Tim who has done this 25yr. research said,s there is 4 classification,s. 1st is more docile, curious mostly. 2nd. is much more aggressive especial very territorial. Will run your ass out of the woods. 3rd.Have been known to attack and kill people.4th. is simply deadly Evil. Kill,s people and eats people. very very deadly aggressive. Not to mess with ,just get away or shoot to kill it. Been called a Dogman because of it,s appearance, Dog.s pointed ear,s and face has short dog snout with fang teeth.. Stand,s on it,s hing legs like a dog. Long arms with long claws on hands.Heigh can average 7 to 8 ft tall and can weigh up to 200 to 400 lbs.. Class 1,2,and 3 can weigh up to 800lbs.
  4. We,ll you guy,s certainly can be funny. I,m just saying that I,m a believer especially having watched these researchers workshop on this subject. What I am saying is, enjoy your Hunt when your in the woods looking to get a deer to come along to put some deer meat in the crock pot. But at the same time you should be schooled enough on these things so you will not crap your pants if you happen to see one in your life time while hunting. It,s a guarantee if you live in the State of Texas you,ll see one. One main tip off they mentioned is, being overcome with a (seriously strong ) feeling of being watched when your alone in the wood,s. Or if the wood,s suddenly go quiet. You know, no bird,s ect... That,s really a bad indication you may or may not have danger near by . Just be quiet and be on your guard until the normal sound,s come back or you can very slowly move away from this area where you can see well ahead of you before you head out. I was trout fishing one time on one nice flowing creek 1/4 mile or so back in the wood,s. I had caught two nice brookies and was walking and stopping and fishing ect..The wood,s seem normal with sound,s and the creek flow was ok when this happened to me. I suddenly felt fear coming over me and the hair,s on the back of my neck started standing up. I suddenly just did not feel that everything was ok in the location I presently was in the wood,s. I quickly reeled my line in, pulled the front part of my fishing rod back toward me and grabbed the shorted fishing rod I now had.in one hand. Un-holstered my S@W 357 Magnum in my other hand and slowly walked back in the direction leading back to where my car was parked. The feeling slowly started to slowly go away as I got further down the creek. When I reached a good (wide) shallow part of the creek, I laid my pole down on the creek bank. Then I walked out to the center of the wide creek area in my hip boots and with the 357 Magnum handgun at the ready, and waited there awhile till my nerves felt pretty we,ll quieted down. What was making thing,s hard for me was not being able to see good into the high grass areas on each side of the creek. But these feeling,s had left me and I felt then that whatever happened for me to get that way was gone. To this very day, It,s like PTSD now and then in my memory. Let me tell you when that did happened, I was really God dammed scarred. I don,t have the answer,s today for what caused this to happen but it did. Happy Hunting Guy,s, TwoSeventy
  5. If you folks would take the time to watch this 2 1/2 hr. episode, the gentlemen or the most experienced researcher Tim will prove the reality that Sasquash as known by the Indians or as we know this part human creature Bigfoot is very very real. Both of these men grew up back in the country of Alabama and grew up with these things around their farms and in the wood,s behind their home,s.. Also there was a horrible event that took place where a family of five people were slaughtered by a creature known as Dogman. These things look like evil itself . The family had parked their RV in a picnic area where no other camper,s were at that time when it happened.Tim explains these killing and where they took place and what the Fed,s did about it. Using National Guard Troop,s with Special Forces to hunt this thing down and kill it. Near the same area that Tim,s tell about it that a Bowhunter was killed and dragged off. When they found his campsite, the Tent was ripped to shreds and all his camping item,s were smashed and strewn about. I did not add this article as a joke. This is the real deal folk,s. Some of you guy,s joked about it and one of your (Senior) members called me a sonova bitch, which is a direct violation of our Club Rules. And yes, some you guy,s answered in the right way by adding to this question, will I ever see these creature,s in the wood,s in my hunting lifetime. The story is, if you injure or kill just one of these Squash, the rest of them will hunt you down. If your attacked and yes you have to then defend yourselves,y\shoot to kill the creature and get ta-hell out of the wood,s. A hunting knife will not help. Carry a large caliber handgun and a good heavy deer rifle. When I go in the wood,s to deer hunt , I carry my .270 Winchester and my 45 acp S@W handgun with extra clips. All I,m saying is to please watch this YouTube Episode and I definetely you,ll come back as a believer. For further learning on this, start reading David Paulides Book,s on Missing 411,s. . The book I am presently reading is Missing 411 on Hunter,s. The BowHunter that goes missing most is the one that goes on watch just before Sunset. Mr. Paulides is a retire Police Forensic Officer with Master,s Degrees. I also apologize for any misspelled word. Respectfully, TwoSeventy.
  6. One of the researcher,s here, worked for NASA for several years with a (Above) Top-Secret) Clearance. This is a You Tube Subject that many frown away from. But if you take the time to watch what they talk about from their year,s of research and first hand,s on experience of over 25 yrs. You,d be more careful of always being armed and well out of the wood,s before Sunset. This may be off set thinking but it can effect you during your Hunting career. And yet it may not. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Kz-US5_FFw
  7. Welcome aboard to this Hunting Forum. I,m not on to much but I got your E-mail that you had joined us and wanted to give my best welcome to you. There is nothing else that can explain the feeling,s of being surrounded by nature by yourself on watch in the woods. My time,s over my hunting years was mostly spent leaning against a tree listening and watching for Deer .Sometimes your warm and sometimes when it start,s breaking light on a cold frosty hunting morning you can feel chilled to the bone.. My shooting hand while on watch or whatever I never wore a glove. In my pocket where I kept my trigger hand I always kept a hot bag . They last all day and some. There are just a few things that will bring home them venisen steaks. Patience: wait till your deer is properly in place for a good kill zone shot. Aim: (know exactly) where that bullet is going to hit on that deer. Be careful to squeeze your shot off. Safety: Remember to look beyond the animal that it,s ok to let that bullet go because when you fire that round you can never call that round back. Very important when dressing your animal to get (ALL) contaminants out. Completely remove the poop shoot. I know off a friend,s wife that came close to dieing because whom ever cleaned that deer did not clean it out correctly and no It was not myself. The meat was contaminated with deer shit residue they later found out. Sorry for any miss spelled word,s and as usual ,some member,s will violate their own club laws and redicule my writings. No shit, it has happened to me on this forum quite awhile back so be careful what you type. Enjoy you Hunting . All the best to you and your dad. Froggy.
  8. Welcome to the club and N.Y.S. has great hunting to offer to up in the Adirondack and also Southern Tier N.Y.. Be conscious of the fact that the Adirondack,s heavy wood,s area,s in the East section that people have gone in and never come out. Search rescue parties were establishes and did a great job looking for many lost people. Some were found and some were not found. and so I would not carry a caliber under 30-06 or handgun under 45acp..Get you pistol permit filed and carry a minimum of a 45acp.or 45 long colt. for added safety and never hunt alone . Always have a buddy on watch not to far from you. And hunt with a friend that knows the area your hunting in very well . The local,s have a idea who or whats causing these missing hunters or hikers but it,s being kept hush up Anyhow I wish you the best in the woods hunting and hope you enjoy New York. Later, Froggy.
  9. Jeff1211, the 3" Magnum turkey loads will do just fine. 2 boxes of shell,s is enough. Preferably 6,s.Be sure you have a full choke barrel on your shotgun. If it,s a 12 guage. a test for that if it,s full choke. A dime cannot pass through end of barrel. If it does, it,s not a full choke. Test your patterns on a 9" paper plate at 25 yds. If pattern is real good, your all set. Find a local hunting club and ask nicely if you can use their range. They,ll say ok. Gobble,Gobble, Froggy
  10. Jeff1211, I got your E-mail on Turkey hunting but I haven,t been for a few years and I do not know of any private land to hunt on. So I,m sorry I cannot help you presently. I can give you deer hunting guidance info if you need it. Been in the woods chasing deer for 45 yrs. and filled so many ( LEGAL) tags i,ve lost track. Shooting a new Ruger American Rifle in .270 Caliber. Just put a new scope on it and need to sight it in when the weather allows at the range. I also reload .270,s. I generally carry with a N.Y.S. pistol permit concealed now these days. a Ruger 9E in 9mm Luger. 10 in the clip and 1 in the throat plus a extra concealed 10 round clip. All Legal. ok. I wish you well and if you need any suggestion,s or pointer,s, just ask, God Bless, Froggy
  11. Whatever deer gets in my decent shooting range , Has good decent looking weight on it as far as meat to eat goes and I have a legal tag for it. Then boom. Be it a legal Buck or a legal Doe. Simple formula I use. Heck I,m happy if I have a good beautiful fall day in the woods and see no deer at all.
  12. Being a senior on here, I had a lot of training with the M1 carbine being a Veteran. Always shot expert with it while in the military. As far as clips go, we always on guard duty used 15 round clips. The carbine is a really nice gun and should kill a whitetail deer just fine. Just make sure your hitting the deer,s vital area,s. Very light to carry while hunting deer to.
  13. Welcome aboard from a neighbor very close to your area. There are many good hunters on this Forum that can help you with any questions you may have. I for one have been running around in the woods for a good 40 years. Now I,m back into reloading which is a very relaxing hobby. Froggy
  14. Teleconference of East Coast Gov’t Agencies Planning Gun Confiscation Leaked Submitted by IWB, on August 7th, 2016 inShare The State’s Attorney’s General of Virginia, New York, Massacheusetts, and one other east coast state, along with DHS, FEMA and the A D L had a teleconference yesterday describing huge plans for gun confiscation in those states. Amazingly, someone either risked their life or hit the wrong button because the supposedly private teleconference went out as open access to state and government agencies. The plan was to use police and all the other agencies listed above to bull rush the gun owning citizenry and seize their guns and to do it very quickly so a counter operation wouldn’t have time to muster. They then began to ridicule those who would be on the front lines in this operation and laughed at how easily they will be thrown under the bus. Turns out some of the people being ridiculed were actually listening. It was police listening over their computers in their cars. Apparently they have made disks of the 2 hour meeting and only distributing it to other trusted police members. The source of this story is Mark Koernke of The Intelligence Report at The Micro Effect and Liberty Tree Radio. http://www.indianafreedomtalkradio.com/intelreport.html Go to this website and download 8 AM Broadcast for 8/4/2016, then start it to listen. more talk curser up to the area of 24 minutes and start listening. SPREAD THIS INFORMATION PLEASE TO OTHER HUNTING FORUM YOU KNOW TODAY. Listen 20 minutes into the 8am broadcast for 8/4/16 for this to surface. Apparently, the cops don’t want to release this publically because it could all be an op to see who would leak sensitive information. AC
  15. Hunting the American Whitetail creates great friendship,s , creates great memories of past hunts that are never forgotten in the files of your mind. The adrenalin rush you get when you look down your gun sight,s at that nice buck waiting to be taken and then he,s down, he,s your,s and you never heard the discharge of your Rifle. There is nothing in my life to me that can replace these feelings of happiness and joy of these moments in one,s life. And our number,s are decreasing over the years which is bad for the sport.

When you go to the gun range sometime, think about taking a couple of young lad,s with their parent ok to do so with you that,s in their younger teen year,s.Guide them safely like your own kid,s and let him shoot a few time,s at your target,s . Introduce them to other shooter,s even if you do not know them yourself. They will feel the good hearts from these people who enjoy this sport as you do and then these lad,s will be hooked, line and sinker.

  16. Ok ,got rifle back and repair said gun was loading ok.They shot a clip load only. When I had the problem, I was shooting 15 to 20 rounds. Trade rifle in for a .270 Ruger American which I really like.. Gun shoot,s good groups at 100 yards and no miss-loads. AMEN
  17. Hey guys, forget about this whole God Dam written request. You have already turned it into a big joke. I,m getting ta-hell out of this Hunting N.Y. Forum Never been in one like it. You write in a serious request and your immediately shit on as a joke. SOLD LONG FOLK all return E-mail,s I am blocking. Hope your moderator reads this. sole long Beachpeas my friend.
  18. Come this fall of 2016 for opening deer gunning season . I am looking for (written permission) from any posted land owner in Northern Jefferson County in area covering 6G who is having deer crop destruction problems with these animals. I would like written permission from the owner to hunt your land so to fill my tags. All you have to do is point me in the general direction to where these deer generally would be for the best spot to bag them. Explain to me any safety thought,s I should know like where your cattle are grazing ect.. Being that I am a senior, I would also like to have written permission to bring another (gentlemen) hunter with me. My experience is over 40 years of taking all legally tagged whitetail,s. I have lost count over the years on how many i have taken home from the woods. I was in the past a NYS E.M.T.. Prior to the opening, I would like a couple of weeks before to come over to talk to you about what,s where the deer generally on your land are and also your area,s it would be ok to hunt on your property farmland. And also at that time to get your prior dated and signed written permissions slips. Would appreciate your thoughts on this if you could do this for me and my friend, Froggy ( Note: If I find out which I will, any indication of anyone trying to pull a prank with this request, you will certainly be visited by the Authorities .)
  19. Shawnhu and member,s, I am Irish and I do joke around at time,s. I guess I as a new member I,.m still feeling the club out!! . Sorry guy.s for being to serious but it,s from being into hunting for over 40 year,s . This is effecting my response judgement with you younger hunters that you guy,s do like to have fun .. Except my apology . Over my year,s into the hunting sport I have experienced so many different aspect,s of the hunting sport. Iv,e trapped, did the reloading aspect of it. I have taken so many legal deer that I,ve lost count. I,ve learned from the wood,s how to go in and out without the need of a compass. The wood,s on your trek in has all kind,s of memory markers you can use to follow back out with. I have learned from the taking of deer that when you think you know it all , you truly do not. There is always something new to learn.. This knowledge that took so long for me to learn, I can pass on to all the younger hunter,s in this good Forum if I can at time,s if requested.. Same as you guy,s do for each other. Sitting quietly in the wood,s rather up against a tree or in a tree stand I always have taken in the beauty and sound,s of nature around me. This I have learned is my most important thing I have gotten from the sport over the taking of game. Solitude and feeling,s of a great peace with nature.Take a moment when your alone while enjoying this hunting sport to take in the great beauty she,s show,s to you , mother nature. I get the same feeling,s when I trout fish a quiet flowing stream in the wood,s around me. This is our sport that we must protect that no one can take away from us. Support you hunting club,s, join the N.R.A.. Teach the younger one,s this sport either brother,s or sister,s or a neighbor,s kid. If we do not do this , we will lose to the anti-gunner,s . It is so important now that you do this as younger hunters so that there will alway,s be an opening day.
  20. On the lighter caliber,s he mentioned I am saying what your hunting guide would tell you. The potential for shoulder bone blow up,s are very high. Your guide would tell you to use the .338 so the odd,s of this happening would not be a worry.. What is this forum a game to see who can make the most fun out of each other or are we putting in the known facts to answer the gentlemen,s question,s. . The answer lol does not fit in this Forum. It set up a out of order opinion that your thinking you have all the answers. Fact is, none of us do.
  21. After reading some of the argument bickering on me saying clip instead of magazine. I could hardly believe a wonderful Forum like this would even have bothered mentioning my error. Wow. There were those that answered this mentioned problem error did give me their appreciated support. on this silly issue. Anyone that is familiar with the Remington 783 rifle would know right off that the rifle takes a magazine and that,s what I was thinking at the time but I accidently wrote clip by mistake. It was like picking fly doo doo out of pepper. We,ll enough said on that subject. But in one great way, I do support Remington sporting arm,s from my past purchases of their products. When my buddy and myself got into our first duck hunting safari,s I had to go to my friendly gun dealer and pick out a shotgun to kill duck,s with. Ozzy my dealer,s name looked over his gun rack , picked out a new 12 guage shotgun which was a pump action. Holding this new gun in my hand,s , racking the pump a few time,s and looking down the full choke 30" barrel sight,s on it. It just said to me, buy me and I will never let you down. I told Ozzy to bag the gun and I paid cash for it. She was a Remington Model 870 Wing master, a beauty to behold. Man over time I got many ducks, pheasants.grouse and bunnies with her. and she never let me down. Another Remington shotgun that I like so much was the Remington 12Ga. pump Brush master.. The Remington quality I recall was the highest on the market then. I would buy nothing else to hunt with. This was in the past but today to me their quality is in question and their getting bad reviews on their sporting arm,s. I feel so sad that this has happened. There is so much competition now that the gun factories are cutting corner,s to keep their factories running. Therefore the quality suffer,s. My first 22 my dad bought me was a single shot Remington.. To shoot this single action after you put a pill in her was to pull back the button on the rear of the gun and squeeze the trigger. Over the years with my concealled pistol permit I have carried Smith@Wesson .357 mag., Ruger Blackhawk 44 mag, a .41 mag, a Taurus 44 mag with 4" barrell My dad was a Federal officer for 31 yrs. and he always carried a .45. Gotta Go folks, Remember to always look beyond you intended target before you launch that bullet Froggy
  22. My 783 was bad right out of the box on load miss feed,s. Still in repair shop. Been two month,s and I have heard nothing. When I get it back, I,m selling it. I do not even plan to shoot the gun again.
  23. Should be no problem at all. Happy hunting.
  24. From your list only, I would pick the .338. All the other listed caliber,s would certainly give you problem.s if the only shot you had was a going away angle entry shot. I would say that in close, the other mentioned caliber,s could work for you on a broadside shot. These caliber,s all have killed Elk and Moose. Now, all but the .338, caliber,s mentioned from your list on a broadside shot if your aim is off a little and you hit the animal,s shoulder blade bone , your in big trouble. All of the lighter mentioned cal,s in your list could and usually have most often blown up on the shoulder bone. Where as the .338 would get through this bone to reach vital kill area,s. There are other caliber,s I could mention but I stayed with your list as you asked. Hope this help,s.
  25. I,m back with a follow up. Oh, I said clip by mistake, sorry, the rifle came with a magazine. A clip is something in respect to the 8 round clip that was inserted into the M1 Garand during WW2. Yes folk,s, my 783 is still at the Remington repair shop in Verona, N.Y.. and I have heard nothing from Remington yet. I imagine that they must have a huge backlog of 783,s that need repairing ahead of my 783. As soon as I get the rifle back from Remington repair, ( I have no plans to ever shoot this gun again). I am selling it. Now I have heard this statement from more than one gun dealer that the Remington quality is as I was told is garbage. Both these dealer,s no longer sell Remington sporting arm,s. I finally got so upset about it, that I went out and purchased a new rifle of another type for a little over $350.00. A Ruger American bolt action in .270 cal.., 22" barrel with a black synthetic stock. Oh my, and she is a beauty and rifle has a good review,s on this model. Like night and day difference on quality design compared to the 783. And I know this Ruger will be no trouble when I eventually get to shoot her at our club range. We,ll folks, that,s it, Be careful out there, Froggy
