Going it alone today when I stopped to get my nephew this morning no answer after knocking for 5 minutes,the time change must have got him. I didn't go in quite as far as I had planned being alone had to keep it at a reasonable dragging distance, still a good spot up on a little knoll intersecting 2 trails with a stream running 50 yrds in front and a bedding area 100 yards to my right I have taken 3 deer from this spot hopeing to make it 4 36 degrees up here in the hill with a light breeze, heard several shots in the distance already but have seen nothing, good luck to all. Not seeing much rut activity in 6g or 6k seeing a few does but seem unpressured, only seen one buck ( a spike) and very few rubs or scrapes I think we are a week or so away which stinks because I'm off on vacation this week.I don't think this relatively warm weather is helping us any either.
