Sitting out tomorrow as well....never like not being on stand this time of year, but with a high of 25 and 15mph+ winds, and having to dress like the marshmallow man i dont think anything beneficial will come of it. If that's your target buck now....hunt him hard.....he likes that area and frequents it enough for you to catch him if you get lucky and a doe becomes hot in that area.....basically let 3n lay idle till gun and focus on this buck Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

I was thinking the same thing and stuck with the bedding area deodorant stick. Deff alot nicer application then worrying about spilling liquid esterous all over the place. Not sure I wanna smell the vsl either....I think the vsl may be a very powerful overwhelming smell in the woods. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

I was ticked about blowing one over the back of a 6pt.......may be still puking if that happened to me. Threw about 30 arrows down range yesterday to boost the confidence for the next few outings! Absolutely love this release....either leave it clipped to my d-loop or in my pocket....keeps hands free until go time. For 3d archery I shoot a 4 finger Tru ball boss x....just a clean break with the thumb style release. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

A few weeks ago a relatively new forum member offered up a youth safety harness that his son wanted to donate to an up and coming hunter, and I gladly accepted since my son has been begging to get into the stand with me. Well it was a beautiful afternoon and the timing was right so we hit the woods yesterday afternoon for his first "official" hunt. He was all business and just kept asking why the deer haven't walked by yet. We sat for a little over an hour and watched a few chipmunk brawls, and squirrels chasing each other around the tree. My son was happy as a clam using the grunt tube, and eating goldfish crackers mom packed as a snack!
