What part of 9h.....we are over in Collins. Between 4 guys 2 doe were taken in the morning and only 2 small bucks seen in the afternoon sit. Out for the afternoon with my crew......but earlier this morning I walked out around 10:30 and on my way home got a text that my buddies son and my Dad both took shots. My buddies sons doe dropped on the stop.....my Dad's donkey decided to take a little adventure. After a short search they found that she circled back around and died in a ditch. Miss being in a camp....but we'll revisit that in the years to come. Opening day gun is just a special time in the deer woods. Can't wait for the first boom...,with the nice weather it's gonna be early this year. Woods should be packed. My 4 year old asked this morning what day was today.....I responded Friday.....he then said well tomorrow is Saturday and that means we need to shoot a deer in the afternoon!
