  1. Great morning in 9h....28 and very little breeze......setup 25 from a scrape that went cold this week. Cams were quiet last night so hopefully they start moving early. Just need one to be a hero! Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  2. Bingo freaking bango! That how this group of guys roll......you need help and 3-4 members anytime of day are willing to drop what they are doing and will be in full out recovery mode! Thats what the brotherhood of deer season is all about! Now with a very detailed write-up like @Moho stated....will help us all with a shot like that next time in the recovery phase! 3. Nice ....I was looking at the fleece one for myself and my dad......may be nice to have the thinner one under and jacket. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  4. Which best did you buy? The fleece one looks great for under a outer layer. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  5. He needed to bed so that is huge .....shows he is injured and hurting. Hopefully he only went a couple 100 more yards and is now dead in his bed. Was that chuck on the exit or entrance side? Arrow may be still in him if that arrow pushed out the chunk but didn't have enough energy to exit the body cavity. Was the bed full of blood? Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  6. 2017 Nissan Titan Crew Cab for me. Bought it March of 2018 with 4500 miles and currently have 52,000 miles with no complaints. At the time I couldn't beat the price either. I tow a 16' fishing boat, 5x10 trailer with a Polaris Rzr on it and it handles both those very well. I also added a light duty plow and most likely will never go back to snow blowing again. 7. Maybe a Thigh master will help.....lol Thank stinks especially with a 300 price tag attached Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  8. I thought the same thing until I found a lease 15 minutes from home in a no rifle county. Well worth dumping the rifle for a 15 minute ride vs. 1 hour 45 minute ride Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  9. Starting to ramp up in 9h......scrapes popping up everywhere. My buddy shot a stud 10 140" last Friday after making his way across a field and working a scrape on the edge of a field. Then at another property from Sat. Onto Sunday morning scrapes opened up all over the property. Here is a pic of one of the visitors. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  10. I was just wondering where you ended up....good to see ya stop back. Looks like ya did well this summer and will have a well stacked freezer. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  11. Hunted rifle in the southern tier for many years and then picked up a lease in a shotgun only area and switched to the Savage 220.....many in this forum will attest it's an absolute tack driver and provides plenty of punch. Unless I am feeling nostalgic I don't plan on ever busting out the old 12ga. Mossy anytime soon. That puppy will shake a few fillings lose shooting 3" sabots. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  12. Wolc....where did you find the old live from the woods or harvest thread? Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  13. That's what you call the hostess with the mostress! Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  14. Looks like very similar genes to me.....let that little racked buck walk and he will more than likely turn into having a very similar rack as the second buck you posted. Be happy that good genes are on the property you hunt. Either deer will eat real well! Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  15. Big win for me this week. Jumped from the 12 spot to 10......time to start climbing the ladder! Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  16. I spoke with a local guy I know and apparently that land was already hunted pretty heavy by bordering properties before it became legal. I guess the Dec did patrol it......but if a local can sneak in and out there is nothing the Dec could do. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  17. Shock factor ....the thrill of seeing the video go viral. People live for that type of satisfaction. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  18. I just messaged my buddy that the cell cams are starting to pop again. Had a young buck cruzing mid day yesterday and the doe are back to their regular morning and night food patrol Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  19. It's says No Swimming.....so I guess you just gotta sink and hope for the best! I think the dam was recently rebuilt because it was in horrible shape. Apparently this resivour was used way back in the day to supply water to the Gowanda Psychiatric Center and then the Gowanda correctional facility. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  20. I did years ago when it was impossible to draw a tag on 9p. It was like Xmas when that tag showed up in the mail. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  21. It's a nice spot .....they released pheasants already this year and the fishing is supposed to be real good. This gives me a nice place to small game hunt with my boys and take the pressure off stomping around one of our leases once Oct. 1 hits. Pic is of the newly reconstruct dam. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  22. I didn't realize their operation was still that big.....as in 600+ employees Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  23. On public land? I can see raking or using a blower in private land....but running around public land with a backpack blower is a little over the top. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  24. Scrapes are getting blown wide open in 9h......this buck was #3 of the night. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
