Not to mention he says he shot it in the neck so it means once again he took a marginal shot on a deer, exit in the ass means a front facing shot. Sounds like jesus loves him but everyone else thinks he’s an a hole Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’m thinking it will be a back up deer gun, maybe coyotes..... and a target gun to have fun with. I already have a bolt action in 308 so that would be one less round to store but the 6.5 seems like it would be allot of fun to shoot at long range Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’ll push bedding for my friends on the last weekend of the season, but a large scale drive no way Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This is true but let me clarify it’s my camp, not a group camp. If I don’t go they don’t go, yes I agree though that’s why I have them up every season. The rule I have is treat the place like it’s yours. So hunt it sit where ever you want, do what ever you want. But when Work needs to be done at camp you better be there.... any way I agree it’s all about having a good time with friends so we will be at camp! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So I found out I will have time to hunt the last weekend of the season, on time I’ve had since opening day when I shot the small 6. Problem is I have no tags for 3h where my camp is. I think I’ll sit there any way as my buddies both have tags and there is the off chance I can see a bear. Maybe mid day I’ll push the bedding areas for them and we can see what pops out. I’d rather be at camp with friends and have no real chance of a harvest then travel and hunt alone. What are all Your thoughts on that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sterling used to have a program where if you dragged your deer to one of the many woods roads used by the rangers they would come with a park truck and pick it up for you. Although that program no longer exists I bet this gentleman could have worked something out had he wanted to. Most Park rangers would be happy to help in a situation like this one. I bet he just didn’t care Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
