I’m just saying, yes ar’s suck I don’t agree with them. But 3k 3h 3a 3 whatever. The law is what it is...I will say I see bigger bucks and more deer every year. The deer are there the density is just low. They aren’t going to come back over night. I did not mean to offend you. Yes I got lucky this year and shot a buck opening morning. But I also Worked my ass off for that deer starting last winter. Cleared land planted clover, apple trees, winter wheat, winter rye. I also hung stands all summer ran 20 cameras. Bow hunted every weekend of bow and 12 days during the rut, and after all that I shot a small 6. I wouldn’t have even shot that deer except for the Work travel I have will keep me out of the woods till the last two Days of the season. I’m not trying to be mean. I like you, like your posts, and as far as this forum goes I consider you a neighbor. I did not mean to offend. I’m just upset with our community as a whole. I had never tried them before didn’t think it was going to be good just bought one home as a joke to mess with my nieces and nephew... I didn’t actually think everyone would try it. So it’s actually been a long season for me so far... I bow hunted my ass off passed on this buck a few times during bow, I had some nice 8’s I’ve been after. So any way I was away in mass for work the past few days. At yesterday’s meeting I found out I was going to be traveling the next 2.5 weeks and wasn’t really going to get a chance to hunt. Between that and my 4 month old. My hunting season was shot. So any way I got in the car yesterday at 4:30 and made the almost 7 hour drive up to camp. In my head I thought I was crazy driving 7 hours to hunt opening morning. I have to be home tonight to spend time with the wife and kid before I travel. Any way at around this guy showed up and just kinda milled around for a while. Needing meat and having a very limited season this year I said screw it, and heart punched him at 80 yards. Also this little guy is the first deer taken at our new camp, so even though he’s small I caped him out and he’s going front and center about the fireplace here, never to be replaced by his bigger friends to follow Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
