Guess I'll just keep an eye on him. Maybe he'll fatten up before winter. Hope so.

Well I managed to take a couple of photos of the spike just now. The quality of the photos suck but I can still make out his ribs and hip bone. If you notice , you can even see his spine. He was too far away for a decent photo and was too skittish when I tried to get closer. Maybe I should notify the DEC with these photos and see what they say ?

No.....he acts normal around the other deer but he doesn't look right. Somethings up with him. I was hoping you'd reply....thanks.

Where's the pot of gold ?

Gonna try to get a better photo with a small digital camera. He's in my yard every night.

Dunno……...never saw a deer that looked this bad in the summer.

I just pulled the memory card of a trail camera that I have in my back yard. The date on the photographs aren't correct. The photos are less than a week old. My question is why are the ribs and hip bone showing on this spike ? None of the other deer look malnourished...…..not even the deer smaller than this one.

I saw 5 poults the other day walking in the road in front of my house . Today when I looked out the window , I saw the hen but she only had 4 poults with her. I figured one fell victim to the foxes that run around the neighborhood. So I decided to walk outside and try to get a good picture of them. As I was taking a photo , a red fox ran right by my leg in an attempt to get to the turkeys. I yelled out hoping to scare the fox off. Thankfully it worked. The hen never sounded an alarm putt and they all froze in the road as the fox was charging them. I hope the remaining 4 poults survive.

What a blowout last night. Nats : 25 Mets : 4 Another loss today...….sucks being a Met fan. Hard to believe that they were in the World Series in 2015.

My Mets shit the bed again this year. Hopefully they don't trade deGrom or Syndergaard before the trade deadline. I would expect the Yankees and Red Sox trying for quality starter before the trade deadline....maybe Wheeler.
