    Tonight’s champion Matt Amodio goes for his 30 something straight win. He already won over a million dollars. The guys a monster ! Unfortunately I’ll have to tape it along with the Wild Card because I’m having company at 6:00pm

    I think the Giants win it all ….. they have been playing good all year. As long as the Dodgers don’t win it. Being declared World Champions last year after a 60 game season was horseshit.

    No frost expected in the extended forecast where I live. Hope I get to at least see some deer this year with the gun. Last year I didn't hear any shots on Opening Day.....that's never happened in the last 40 plus years that I've been hunting.

    For those interested……it appears the fawn succumbed to EHD. The 2 emaciated deer on my trail camera might have CWD.

    I hope the fawn is still there if the DEC stops by. I can visualize a coyote carrying it off.

    Agreed. I saw the fawn trying to drink from our birdbath yesterday but he couldn’t reach it. Last year I found 9 dead deer from EHD along the local creek where I hunt. But the 2 sick deer on my trail camera don’t look like EHD to me.

    Yesterday I found this little fawn wandering around my back yard. I thought it was strange not being able to spot the doe anywhere. So about an hour ago , I was walking around my vegetable garden when I noticed this little guy laying there covered in flies. He was still breathing but laboring. I would imagine he will be dead by nightfall. After finding sick deer on my trail cameras and now this , something bad is definitely going on around here.

    I’d rather set up my trail cameras for furbearers. I usually have a good idea where the deer are during hunting season. That doesn’t guarantee me anything though. Lol

    You're right.....I emailed him the doe photos. He might stop by my house this week after he looks at these photos.

    I would try to put them down but they always show up after dark. Besides which , they are too many houses and a grade school near me to discharge a gun.....bow maybe.

    I spoke to their biologist a few days ago regarding a sick looking doe. He asked me if I thought it was EHD and I told him no. He requested that I get in touch with him if I see anymore infected deer. Other than CWD and rabies , I'm not sure what other diseases deer get. I wish I knew what is infecting the local deer around my house. I hate to see them suffer like this.
