No xbow for me, but glad you xbow only guys get to get out -
Way to go Larry! Can called in what I think might have been this guy OR another wide buck with longer tines around 5 tonight. He followed the wrong side of a blow down 40ish yards away, grunted and walked out of sight. GRunted at him, hit the can, snort wheezed, he never turned around. Still really pumped about seeing him but gutted at the same time.

Well, I'm having one of those years. Ive hunted about a dozen and half times and have seen 1 deer from the stand. Doing everything the same as the past...spraying down, listening to trail cams, hell I haven't had an old spice shower since mid Sept., neighbors wounding deer and tromping around my best spots, it goes on and on. Deck just seems to be stacked against me. Any of you superstitious hunters have a cure before I look up witch doctor in the yellow pages?

Well I had high hopes this morning. Mock scrape next to my stand got hit last night/this morning. 7:45ish neighbor came around looking for a buck he shot last night. Little discouraging, but oh well. Sittin tight

I'm not on any "side" of this argument but have been reading along. I like my compound, and really want to get into traditional archery for next season (xbow hunters or not). People, we're all on team PRO HUNTING, stop fighting eachother -

bumped some dear walking in this afternoon, sit was dead until late. Doezilla snuck in behind me down wind and caught my scent at about 10 yards.
