Yesterday while out fishing I realized I can't really cast very far with my fly rod. I can get out about 10-20yrds. unless there's nothing behind me which isn't always the case.I find myself roll casting most of the time which cuts the distance.Is there a certain cast for fish from the bank with brush behind you? and what's your average casting distance.

Finally got into some fish today. Unfortunately they where out of reach for my fly cast. They where hitting a big yellow/black rooster tail they wouldn’t hit anything else. Had a blast until I snagged a stick floating by and lost the lure. I kept two for lunch tomorrow. Question for the fly guys if there hitting a one inch rooster tail would a yellow streamer work? I did the PRK lasik back in November. There still healing but I have no complaints other then a little gritty feeling from time to time. It didn’t do anything for reading or my astigmatism, but the doctor said it could take up to a year. I have the classic it’s becoming my favorite plinker. I like the fact it holds 15rd. I can load it up and walk around picking off pine cones and mushrooms. Mines dead nuts on from 30-50 yards. I’ll probably use it squirrel hunting this year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I lost 60lbs. And have been maintaining it for a little over two years. If you can incorporate fasting and exercise in things go faster. Just don’t go over board work your way up to a 12-16 hour fast. Eggs,nuts and berries are your friends. Not sure if this matters in your situation but it also got me off diabetes meds. Slabs won’t work up here the rock heaves are out of control. This shed is getting converted over to a skinning/butchering shed so it doesn’t need to be on the ground. I’ll most likely leave the skidders on it. This is one of seven rocks the heaved up this year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have to move a shed to get a few loads of dirt delivered. Right now it's just sitting on a few bricks which are sinking into the ground more and more every year.I was thinking RCA or stone ? Also I don't know the proper name for them but I see sheds up here with "skidder boards"[??] on the bottoms to slide the shed around.This is how i'd like to move the shed.It's a 7'x14' shed. Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve been shooting the berry’s bullets in my 357 magnum revolver with good results,so I ordered some for my dirtythirty and loaded them up with a few different powder’s I have the first group is imr 4320 the second group is varget the third is imr 3031 the fourth is red dot way to hot of a load. All where supposed to be around the 2000fps mark but I didn’t check with the chronograph yet. I was shooting hardcast bullets with horrible results. I think is the micro groves in my marlin the gave me shotgun patterns,key holing and leading. Problem solved with berry’s bullets. If your looking for some plinking bullets check them out. I dig one out of my sand trap. I might back off the crimp a little. Sheared off the extractor with the second shot of red dot. Prime was flattered case stuck in chamber. I’m on the same page with you about this problem.The real problem is they’ll never be a great exodus to get them out. Hit a lake today instead of the streams. They didn’t stock it yet so I messed around with bass and tried for perch. The water was warm at 50* wind was blowing pretty good. I couldn’t get the bass to take a woolybugger they seemed to like the blue/chrome Chloe tin. I’m going to try another lake tomorrow for perch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm not defending them at all.I believe that they shouldn't be here except through the legal process. My point was there not going to stay there if there's work and a cheaper place to live.

Most of them came here to work and make money. They'll go where ever the jobs are and affordable housing and it sure as hell ain't westchester or the five boroughs.I've been up here for six months and met three couples[legal immigrants] from long island that came up here because of the affordable housing.Work is work they'll do sixteen hour shifts.I was in Herkimer last week and saw a group of immigrants in walmart as soon as they get a little english under there belt they'll be working there.

Wow that compound is still up there it's been there for 10+ years. I wanted to retire to deposit,but the whole fracking war pushed me away. I thought for sure this state was going to flip red with all the Trump trains and boat rallies.I don't know if that went on up here but I see a lot of Trump flags and no safe act signs. My main point for even reply in this thread is if your quality of life sucks do something about it other then complian.

I’m in a group text and a lot of guys are excited about it. The main concern seems to be how it’s going to be conducted first come or a lottery like the shotgun season.
