  1. The link to the Global Governance 2025 doc, used to originate on the CIA.gov site where I first found it. That has ceased. However, it can be found here http://gulagbound.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/2025_Global_Governance.pdf. It has the seal of the U.S. Director of National Intelligence. Reading the one Preface page is a good start. ..... President Franklin Roosevelt’s financial advisor and also the son of Paul Warburg. Who is Paul Warburg? A banker, and the "father" of the Federal Reserve system. Read the biography of the Warburgs. A great read on how power buys power. ...... If your interested I can forward links to a couple Unclassified Homeland Security docs. 2. I am really surprised that there isn't any discussion here concerning what transpired at that meeting. This video is inspiring folks all across the nation and there have been compliments from a lot of Southerners who have realized that there are some men in NYS that have balls. Here is a thread from the NortheastShooters forum. They are very interested. http://www.northeastshooters.com/vbulletin/general-discussion/190782-new-york-citizens-aint-happy.html Many good links on Google now. Hope people here show up at the protest/rallies in Albany on the 8th, 12th, and 28th with Stewart Rhodes of Oathkeepers.
  3. Sounded like Syracuse steeped up to the plate and demonstrated some spunk. Good job there.
  4. Yep. There can't be a fizzle out. There needs to be growth. Now hearing there are three definite rally's on the 8th, 12th, and 28th; and thought I heard about another one in Feb. Hope to be in this info loop more directly soon.
  5. January 29, 2013 Residents of Erie County, New York overflow the State's dictating / Q & A forum concerning the unconstitutional NY Safe Act arms bill. The passion and anger from the people is evident of Erie County resistance. After the first speaker spoke, the second one was introduced. A request from an audience member to recite the Pledge of Allegiance was ignored by the State. So the people took over and assertively recited it anyway. The State attempted to have private interviews with the media which alienated the crowd further, who then demanded transparency. Then the State wanted the questions from the audience to be private, which riled folks even more. Questions asked by Western New Yorkers covered: non-compliance, penalties, jury nullification, 2nd Amendment profiling into domestic terrorists, government tyranny, police, sheriff, and more. Other topics, and especially on the people forming militias was missed due to full camera memory. Welcome to blue collar Buffalo. * * * Fiery Meeting About NY SAFE Act Clarence, NY (WKBW) - A question and answer session on New York's new gun law turned testy, as gun owners unleash a fury of anger on the new legislation. Frustration boiled over for people who feel as though they are law abiding citizens, being turned into criminals. For many, it was a chance to vent anger at Albany. One WNYer even said "You put a brown shirt on Mr. Cuomo and put him on television, he would look just like Hitler." Another chimed in, "Angry people get together, they form militias folks. This country, this WNY is prime for something like that!" Western New York gun owners say they SAFE Act and its ban on assault weapons makes no sense. One of the big concerns -- who is footing the bill for making changes to guns that are now considered assault weapons. State officials told the crowd the gun owners are the ones responsible. People in the crowd also had a lot of questions about the registration laws. One gun owner asked,"What is the penalty if you don't register it? 'Cause I guarantee there's a lot of people that aren't going to." At times, advocates felt answers were incomplete or political. http://www.w...-188927191.html"]http://]http://www.w...-188927191.html WKBW video:
  6. "The first step in becoming a soldier in the U.S. Army is being armed with knowledge." She called them out. And the soldiers didn't seem to do well. She knows her stuff at the basics good enough. I wouldn't have a problem placing my money on her in a debate against a higher educated person. Them folks too would get asked questions they have never been asked before.
  7. Journalist Accosted By Security Over Mayor Bloomberg Gun Control Question by WYNTON HALL 28 Jan 2013, 9:01 AM PDT In an explosive exchange outside the U.S. Conference of Mayors meeting in Washington, D.C., security guards for billionaire New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg accosted senior Talk Radio Network investigative reporter Jason Mattera when he asked the mayor about his strong support for gun control. In the video, Bloomberg is seen surrounded by security. Mattera approaches Bloomberg and asks, “In the spirit of gun control, will you disarm your entire security team?” Bloomberg’s reply: “Uh, you, we’ll get right back to you.” “Why can you defend yourself but not the majority of Americans?” Mattera asks as the mayor walks away. “Look at the team of security you’ve got. And you’re an advocate for gun control?” The video then cuts to Mattera walking further down the street when one of the men guarding Bloomberg, identified as Officer Stockton NYPD, stops Mattera and asks to see his photo ID. 8. A brave young Liberty person. The video is a bit slow. She calls a handful of local recruiters and asks her question. A couple of them have quite the difficulty. She has some other videos that are pretty good too.
  9. They are probably going to state the law and answer questions about the law. We should still try and show up and question for discussion on this whole matter, not just the law. They need to feel some type of passion from us.
  10. Show up early and request a Q & A if they are not having one. Please try and be there and invite others. 11. Look at how much a person put's in. And with the outcome, can you purchase the same amount of, and quality of goods and services that have existed over that span? His example to demonstrate the loss is with the corvette. How much more currency do you have to hand over now, to get a top end corvette, or even that same corvette. Advanced technology in the vehicle is actually a very minimal cost. So if you purchase it, did a big junk of your return disappear? Remember, unless a person is well to do, the average person is just about locked into having the choice to only hand over enough currency to afford inferior goods and services as decades earlier. Chinese break apart furniture, GMO food, power tools and appliances that break after a couple years. People purchase less quality these days, because they have to in order to make ends meet. Purchase the same quality as before and the return drops further. His example demonstrates the loss of purchasing power and goods quality, over time, doesn't put you much further, if at all. Are you counting only 401k as his example, or are you including in your comfortable living, any other investments, any pensions and social security if applicable?
  12. Very short, simple to understand article with graphs. Used mutual funds as the example, which are in 401k's. After fees, taxes, and inflation adjusted - your $950 invested in 1966 is currently worth today, well about the same. * * * Let’s begin with the myth that the stock market has averaged 9 percent returns since forever. Its often quoted as a reason why its almost impossible to lose money if you buy and hold stocks. I disagree, and this article has some pretty basic analysis to show that maybe the stock market isn’t so great. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is a basket of stocks with some doctoring of the numbers to adjust for dividends, stock splits and so on. Let’s see how it did since 1966. Let’s imagine we bought the entire index in form of a mutual fund in 1966, for the low-low price of 950 bucks. I say mutual fund because everyone’s 401(k)’s are in mutual funds, so this is primary means that an ordinary person will invest in the stock market. http://shadesofthomaspaine.wordpress.com/2012/12/08/the-dow-jones-has-averaged-near-zero-returns-since-1966/ That clarifies it. What this graph pretty clearly shows is that from 1966 to the present, investing in the Dow was a money-losing proposition. For the brief dotcom boom of 1996-2000, the stock market was a great deal, more than doubling in real value, AFTER taxes, fees and inflation. Excluding these couple years, though, the stock market has been a money-losing machine for nearly 50 years. In the past 13 years, the market lost 25% of its value between taxes, fees and inflation. So, I’m not sure where the stock market cheerleaders get their numbers, but mine tell a very different tale.
  13. What firearms have the zombies been using that pushed the average folk to have to respond with in kind?
  14. Past experiences usually demonstrate having the local authorities making the initial reports to the media. Then the Feds come in. Then there is more of what is told to the media to report. It has been brought out the Holden showed up at Sandy Hook. There is still no proof of how exactly anyone entered the school, reported looking like a armed militant.
  15. Not in 9x. The DEC releases nuisance bears behind our hollow. And, too many coyotes. People stating around there are not seeing as many deer. Any connection? I am not sure. But if I see a spike next year, I am going for my meat.
  16. http://radioviceonline.com/department-of-homeland-security-sport-rifle-ar-15-suitable-for-personal-defense/ Section C of solicitation number HSCEMS-12-R-00011 is pretty specific. Here is a direct link to the Section C PDF (246KB). My emphasis in bold. Notice the term assault weapon or assault rifle is not used anywhere in the document. The scope of this contract is to provide a total of up to 7,000 5.56x45mm North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) personal defense weapons (PDW) throughout the life of this contract to numerous Department of Homeland Security components. … In paragraph 3.1 under requirements and testing standards we read… DHS and its components have a requirement for a 5.56x45mm NATO, select-fire firearm suitable for personal defense use in close quarters and/or when maximum concealment is required. Isn’t that inconvenient for the gun control politicians? In requirement paragraph 3.9.10, they find a need for a 30-round magazine. The action shall be capable of accepting all standard NATO STANAG 20 and 30 round M16 magazines (NSN 1005-00-921-5004) and Magpul 30 round PMAG (NSN 1005-01-576-5159). The magazine well shall be designed to allow easy insertion of a magazine.
  17. Competition is great. If some local groups there formed a loose union. they could put together an event just as good. A different name, with probably most of the same sponsors. It may not be as big but the power of boycott worked immediately and a plan could be put in place to fill the vacuum.
  18. Boycotting is a most powerful peaceful action that can be taken. If only we could get a majority of folks to participate. Very powerful.
  19. http://www.gunssavelife.com/?p=5089 But the boots on the ground told a more interesting story of what happened. Steven Zahareas posted the following on ISRA’s Facebook page: I was the first one there at the meeting at 11:58am. The Glenview police officer that I spoke to showed me into the room and he supported us. When their people started showing up they said that the two front rows were reserved, I said that there was no reserved seating. The second time they brought J. Jjenkins over and she asked me to move saying that the elderly were going to sit there and I said, “we would see how many elderly showed up”. The third time they came up and asked me to move I replied, “My name is not Rosa Parks and I am not going to the back of the bus.” I had saved four other seats up front for us and held firm. I saw it for what it was, to get their people up front and push ours out. The moderator who wanted to start the meeting said, “Let’s start the meeting” and tried to start the meeting and someone from our side said, “Let’s start the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance” and we did. I was in the front row and I saw for myself that the moderator rolled her eyes and not one of the anti-freedom, anti-Constitutionalists stood up for the Pledge. Hey, who is surprised? The man Jenkins could not, or would not, support any of his claims. He went so far as to say that violent crime in IL is down and when a crowd member on our side questioned him about the results Jenkins admitted that the City of Chicago was left out of the study and statistics. Jenkins even tried to lull and appease the crowd by saying I am one of you as he pulled out a FOID card (remember Blago also had a FOID card…). I asked him about the FBI UCR (Uniform Crime Report) that has the breakdown of murders by weapon. One person on the panel said he would not talk about it and would not answer that question, obviously because he knew the FBI UCR did not substantiate his claims. Jenkins compared us to Nazis and made the statement that NRA members are the ones who committed the mass shootings. Jenkins made mention of the Civil Rights movement and I yelled out the Second Amendment is a Civil Right. Lee Goodman started his little speech by insulting law-abiding gun owners. When he was reading his piece about the babies I yelled out “What about my babies?” “Why are you trying to take away my ability to protect my babies?” Near the end of his involvement of the forum in the Q&A, he stated that the Second Amendment has no importance today. Then a Veteran stood up and stated that he fought for Goodman’s right to say what he was saying but asked him if he would support the same restrictions on the First Amendment. No answer from Goodman. We need to meet them on every front and call them out on their lies. It was a meeting where we locked them out of their own meeting. No quarter! The truth shall set you free. Their plan is to divide us and consume a piece of the pie at a time until there is nothing left but crumbs. For those of you who were first timers to see how the opposition works now you know the ridiculousness we are up against, recruit another gun owner to get involved in the ISRA, NRA, Gun Owners of America, Jews for the Preservation of Gun Ownership, or any other true gun rights organization. If you are a gun owner and you are not speaking up YOU are part of the problem.
  20. http://www.backwoodshome.com/blogs/ClaireWolfe/2013/01/23/guns-grassroots-and-unity/ And it seems that even some members of the formerly wishy-washy corporate gun crowd have gotten the message that gun owners are both united behind a solid concept of their rights and not to be trifled with. Reader F. alerts me to an ongoing “situation” on the east coast. Reed Exhibitions announced just a few weeks before the big Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show in Pennsylvania that all ugly guns would be banned from the event. Perhaps UK-based Reed believed the hype about “widespread consensus.” They shoulda done a reality check first. No sooner had they announced their crippling of the show when exhibitors started walking out en masse. Most of the drop-outs are small businesses — many of them with little or no relationship to ugly guns. They make duck blinds. Boats. Camping gear. Spices. Archery equipment. Knives. But out they went — even though, for many of them, the ESOS show can make or break their profits for the year. Big boys went, too. Cabelas — a full sponsor of the show — was among the first to pull out. Then went Ruger and Smith & Wesson. TV show hosts said, “No thanks!” The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation said goodbye. Even the NRA, never known (except in the MSM) for its hardline attitude, dropped out. (Reportedly both the NRA and the NSSF had worked pretty hard to get Reed to change its tightly knotted little corporate mind.) One after one, the exhibitors and sponsors stated, “We must be united in our support of the Second Amendment.” No more divides between the engraved-shotgun/sporting clays crowd and we more grubby gun owners. We’re all in — or we are OUT.
  21. I have not. Talk has been mostly for a big rally in Albany in February. What is trying to be persuaded, is having Scope take the lead because they are politically neutral. The GOA and NRA should also be involved. I am not on the inside of the events so I get second hand info. Steve, President of NY Scope spoke in Buffalo, not Albany at last weeks rally, mainly because he lives here. So it sounds like any Scope escalating their involvement will come out of the brainstorming, possibly from WNY. I due believe that there needs to be more than just speakers speaking at these events. There wasn't any real plans of involvement spoken to the audience to get people fired up about. Just speaking isn;'t enough. There needs to be a coordinated action plan revealed to the crowds to sitr some growth.
