  1. I attempted to track but I had no blood. Took his path about 50-60 yards and backed out. I hit him mid body
  2. I was about 17-18 ft up. I'm thinking it lodged into the opposite shoulder. I got down and looked for blood but couldn't find any. I'm pretty sure I clipped the lung and into the diaphragm.
  3. So at about 6:00 I hit a buck, nice 8 pt. The shot was about 15 yards quartering away.... I hit him a little high, the arrow lodged into him with about 10 inches of arrow hanging out. He dropped on the spot, got up ran a few feet, fell again and ran about 70 yards and I lost him. As the buck passed me I saw about 6 inches of skin where my arrows had entered. I didn't try tracking due to the time and not wanting to push.. what do you guys think?
  4. Up for my fourth sit of the year..... so far haven't even seen a tail...... cams are only picking up night and early morning pics.... weather has to change to get these deer moving
  5. I just picked up a halon as well.... I got the 7 inch brace height.. love the bow so far!!! Fast, accurate and smooth drawing bow.
  6. I shot this deer last year on the last day of gun. It came past me and seemed to be leaning to the right. The deer did not look healthy and I put it down. When I butchered it, it had about 6 inches of arrow in it but no broadhead. It appeared to have been shot the previous year as it healed over. These deer are definelty tougher than we think
  7. I have never really used scents before, do you recommend any?
  8. Anyone ever use them? If so, any success ?
