I noticed that a couple of weeks ago when the old Chevy went empty. I traded it in rather than pay that price.
-
No one is judging. Just pointing out that those are not mature bucks. Nothing wrong with that at all until you start claiming them to be mature.
-
Is it bad that I read that with a pinky up the ol nostril?
-
I’m still looking for the mature buck. I see a bunch of 1 and 2 year olds. im putting my chest waders on. It’s getting deep in here.

Thanks! Be ready to wait until early summer. I found 2 that could be test driven in the Rochester area. Everything listed on every dealers site was either not going to be in until late February and all of them were already sold. I drove the only 4x4 I could find and really was not impressed. Maybe it was because it was a lower trim model (SR5), but my Ram is also a lower end trim and it’s a lot nicer IMO.

My dad put Weathertech mats in his truck, the Chevy I just traded in. The first thing I did when I started driving it was take them out and throw them away. I hated them. They didn’t fit the trucks floor very well at all. There was a 1/2” gap on the sides and front. They had also become stained and nasty looking. I tossed them and went with cheap rubber ones.
-
The mats that came in the truck are damn near as good as the Weathertech and Husky mats. I was happily surprised when I picked it up.

Where did you get your cap, and what did it run you if you don’t mind me asking. I requested a quote for mine from a place in Victor and have yet to hear from them. I’m waiting to hear from them before I decide if I go that route or just order a tonneau cover.
-
They are closer than you’d think. At least with my regular 20” wheels on it. My Cat is heavy and traction is tricky. Now, if I have the 17” Mickeys on the back, and I’m hooking, it’s a different ballgame. The new Z06 would eat me alive.
-
I customize everything. I’ll do a few small, removable things to this truck. Bedliner, tonneau cover, ventvisors, etc but that’s it. I have my boat and Hellcat to quench my customizing thirst.
-
Congrats on the car! The C8s are awesome! Wanna see how it does against a Hellcat? Lol
-
The final result at the very end will be the same as last year though. Go Bucs!

Anyone elses friends turn lame at age 40?

Online dating is the furthest thing from fun. Trust me. -
Thanks! I don’t necessarily like them, and I don’t hate them, I just always seem to end up with them. In fact, only 1 truck that I’ve ever owned was not red. That one was blue lol.
-
I love white for cars. My Hellcat was one of the few cars I have bought because of the color, and the interior color. It’s hard to beat a White/Black/Red combo. The carbon fiber enhances it even more.
-
Thanks! I’m not a fan of red either, though this makes 3 red trucks in a row for me lol. Color is always the last consideration when vehicle shopping for me. As long as it isn’t black. I’ve had a few black vehicles (still have my black Subaru) and I hate it. After I got the truck home last night, I parked it in the barn and realized that it matches my boat. I’m not sure if that’s going to make me look douchey or not though lol. It was not on purpose.

I am looking for a long term hunting lease in the WNY area, preferably the Western Finger Lakes region (from Waterloo west to Batavia). It will be for my son, myself and possibly one other guy depending on location, etc. I am looking to be able to do food plots, etc and no house or cabin on the property is necessary. If you have or know of something that is available, or will be, please let me know.

Yep. Things change. 10 years ago I was going out a lot, hanging out with a different group of people most of the time, etc. Kids, job and personal responsibilities change peoples priorities. Now at 45, most of my time with friends is tied to hunting and fishing. I’ve been out to bars maybe 7-8 times in the last couple of years. It wouldn’t have been much more than that if Covid hadn’t happened either. -
Yep. I looked at used before deciding to lease. The prices were crazy. Sticker price on this truck was 3k more than the price I saw for a 2 year old very similar truck with 15k miles on it. Pretty easy choice on that.
-
Thanks. Yeah it’s nuts. I had my Hellcat up for sale a while back. I was offered 10k more than I paid for it 3 years ago. I couldn’t bring myself to do it, so I turned it down.
-
No.
-
No, it’s there because at the end of the lease, you are responsible for paying for damage to the truck like dings, deep scratches, curb rash on wheels, etc. This covers that.

It’s a 22 Bighorn Sport with the Hemi, tow package and a couple of other upgrades.

One thing I forgot to add about the deal was that I traded in my old 2000 Silverado. That was another couple of thousand that was put down on it.
