Thanks, I’ll take a look. I appreciate the heads up on these.

I don’t have the Cat anymore. Sold it this past spring. Made a ton of money on it actually.

You can’t control other people. If someone wants to drive fast, why do you care? It’s none of your business honestly. Let police take care of speeding issues, because all you’re doing is making a dangerous situation if you’re screwing with people.
-
I already looked at this one. Way too pricey for what it is.

I love my TC Encore. Nothing bad to say about it at all. Lots of aftermarket parts/upgrades/goodies for it. Being able to swap the barrels, stocks, etc makes it extremely versatile too. Also have a CVA Accura that is going to my son that is a very nice rifle as well. I don’t like the breech plug design quite as much as my TC, as it has way more threads and takes longer to remove or install, but that’s the only thing I don’t like about it.
-
But why? All you are doing is upping the chances that you’re pissing off the wrong person. Just drive and don’t worry about people that want to drive faster than you. if someone comes running up on my ass, I just keep driving and don’t worry about it. If they pass me, who cares? I’ve never understood the point behind antagonizing other people. People need to stop acting like a bunch of Karens and mind their own business.

Grizzly bear attacks two Wyoming college wrestlers

Yep. I have no desire to ever hunt one, or hunt out west with just a bow. I’ll be just fine Gun hunting out there. -
I am still looking for a lease

There was another tournament there when we were on Saturday. Chatting with one of the guys, they had the same tournament there last year, on the same weekend, winning bag was 24lbs. I have seen lots of tournament reports this past summer that had bags in the 20-22lb range with some 6+lb fish coming in. They are there, just need to know where to find them.

Yeah once Crossbow opens up. Still having issues with my right shoulder, which keeps me from drawing my bow properly. I’ve been out after yotes a few times already. No luck yet.
-
Yeah it could have been worse.

She lived in Bahhhsten for like 15 years, so I let it slide.
-
I’m not going to judge it based on just that one day. Plenty of tournaments produce 20+ lb bags there.

Things slowed down for me a bit over the summer, due to an unexpected kitchen renovation that popped up and health issues with my mom, so I wasn’t able to get out as much as I’d have liked. My tournaments suffered, as I wasn’t able to pre-fish any of them. I ended up last on a couple, and then hung around the middle of the pack for most. I did have a 4th place finish later in the season. I was able to fish every tournament except 1, which I missed due to my son having a hockey tournament in PA. This past weekend was our Classic tournament, which I qualified for with my win in the first one. We ended up holding it at Silver Lake on Saturday, and it was a windy mess of super tough fishing. Half of us ended up with a skunk, and just a hair over 5lbs took the win. I was just happy to qualify for it. Now it’s on to some fall fun fishing and maybe an open or two before I put the boat to bed for its long winter nap!

Tournament season started out with a bang for me, as I took the win for our first tournament of the year! My friend Alex and I killed it in super windy, rough conditions on the Upper Niagara river, weighing in 18.67lbs of smallies, anchored by my 4.14lb Lunker for the day!

My son and I had a great spring fishing with the new boat! Even got my girlfriend out there ripping some lips!

I haven’t been posting a whole lot on here for a while, as life has been incredibly busy for me. It was a great season of fishing for me, both with tournaments and fun fishing. I started the year out trading in my old 18 1/2 ft Stratos on a 2019 Phoenix 21PHX. I loved my Stratos, but I fish a lot of bigger water, and wanted something larger that did a better job in rough water, and there are few bass boats that do that job better than the PHX series. I drove all the way to KY to score the deal that I did, and saying that I love this boat is a tremendous understatement.

Red dot on scope for hunting good idea bad idea Thoughts
WNYBuckHunter replied to phantom's topic in General Chit Chat
I use one on my “daytime” coyote rifle for up close shots when my scope would be a hinderance. There are no downsides to it. -
I like the ones that drive 5-10 under the speed limit and then flip you off or speed up when you go to pass them. People are just dumb.
