So , this am , I read on the newsfeed that a couple of Republicans chose to heckle Biden during his speech last night ; these included Boebert from Colorado ( I think) and Marjorie Greene from GA . Now, I don’t know how bad it was cuz , in all candor , I didn’t watch the speech . But , apparently it was enough to be noticed . Now , everyone knows on here that I’m a Pretty conservative guy and support Republicans with regularity . Also , it should be pretty obvious I’m no fan of Biden and think he’s an awful President . But I do not like this . I think that - despite your personal feelings - you should always show your leader respect in public . I didn’t like it when the left constantly disrespected Trump and I don’t like it now when certain members on the right do the same thing to Biden. Criticize all you want - that fine !! Just don’t be disrespectful . I think these 2 ladies were wrong and should offer an apology to the Pres- just my take

Actually, according to another article I read about her, Biden wrote a commentary - which was included when it was released- for her 2013 book on Putin. This was WELL before Trump, so to me, I really do believe shes biased.

Correct, my friend; in truth, I believe weve discusssed this same basic issue in other threads and feel pretty much the same about this. In truth, intrinsic bias that were speaking of, can be directed at EVERYONE , correct? My discounting what she has to say- is that coming from a place of bias cuz I'm pro Trump? Yup!! But that doesnt mean Im wrong!! Likewise, is his posting that article and promulgating it as gospel beyond reproach also originating from a place of bias cuz he hates Trump?? Not sure if its a lie as I think he may actually believe but clearly inaccurate. Putin invaded NOW, rather than before becuase of the weak, inept incompetent person currently residing at 1600 PA ave., Wash, DC. If Trump had been so deeferntial to him prior, he would have made his move while Trump was still in power-he did not. He waited for weakness and he got it- plain and simple.

But Chef, I said this before, you have to look at ALL metrics , not just that silly Russsian oil thing Phade posted!! analysts said we were energy independent under Trump for AT LEAST 2 years; thats the point here!! You can argue other issues and points maybe werent so good, certainly , but he blows Biden-and Obama- away in terms of energy policy! Besides, if youre going to use the "under his watch" argument here, thean i hope youll be consistent and agree that this whole Ukraine tyhing is totally Bidens and was brought on by demonstrated and clearly recognized incompetence and weakness!!

No, youre wrong Chef; you have to look at big picture . Accdg to Energy statisticians, we were energy independent under Trump, and we hadnt beeen for years . Like I said to Phade when he posted that link youre referring to, thats just RUSSIAN oil imports and we werte still trending down with that too- under Obama some too, youre, but also Trump. again , IDK if we TRULY were energy indepedent under the stud , but thats what the stats say!! in terms of-at the very least- being better off energy wise, its very clear- a resounding YUP!!!

Maybe , but I don’t think it lasted due to the pandemic and the change In leadership . Saw a couple sources now that both said accdg to their metric of analysis , we were under Trump but idk . You know , the thing is is that BOTH sides will cherry pick stats to advance a narrative , which is frustrating- I’ve seen that for years . Best thing you can do is look around you and , take in as much info as possible from a myriad of different sources to try to make a assessment as to what the hell is goin on. For me , it’s quite simple : under Trump , economy was good , gas was cheap ; u see Biden, economy sucks , gas prices are high and are rising ever further . NOONE can deny this - therefore , things were much better under Trump than Biden .
