I shot mine a bunch at the range and after 3 shots everytime it was 3" low at 100. And harder to load. So I went and cleaned it and same happened again. It's dead on first shot at 100 everytime. if i dont clean mine anything after 3 shots starts to drop. Shoot that first and second one at 200 then take a 100 yard shots after and see what it looks like. I use the same as you 2 pellets of 777.

But a 7mm 08 does all that and better and no more recoil. No advantage for all those with a .243. It doesn't ruin meat cause your shooting 95 grains. And if you read above others state it ruins meat due to speed. Its very light for a whitetail in my opinion. Makes zero sense to me but to each their own. A .22 mag will also kill a deer but why would you buy one for that when there are superior options for the same price, weight, recoil as the .243. We didn't even have a decent buck on cam til 10/16 and only at night last year 10/23. And I know everyone was just talking about don't rely on cams but a deer can't step foot in my plots without being on film. Lol But this property has been the same every year for the 8 years I've hunted it. 1-2 local small bucks then about Halloween it blows up. I do hunt early for a doe and prob will still do that some but am saving my time for prime time. And I haven't seen any cold snap here or any increased activity til now. My favorite is Xbow season anyway so it kinda works out. and its the best time of year. I moved some days around this week and still have W,Th off but next week i am off everyday but W. the week after i work three days and then took the whole week of Thanksgiving for gun. I sure missed out on an insane fall bite on the lake for some lackluster hunting this year. Wont make that mistake again.

this season i couldve bagged the entire bow season for the most part and just fished. Then started hunting first weekend of Xbow. Next year i am taking 0 time off til halloween. Then pound it for 3 weeks which are the best anyway

If a .243 is all you got use it. But can't see a reason to buy one for deer hunting. Even recoil sensitive people could still shoot a .308, 7mm, 30/30 etc without much issue and would do a better job. To buy one specific for deer hunting is a poor choice imo.
