  1. 11/26: I left work at 2:30pm and it was just raining in New York City. Got home in Westchester around 330pm to a few inches on the ground. Decided to make the trek to up to my Parents house in Putnam County 3N so I can hunt tomorrow. Gotta love All wheel drive, worked great and breezed up the Taconic. About 5" here already and another 3-5" coming and ending around 1-2am. Hoping tomorrow is the day a bigger buck makes a mistake. I will be hunting till 10am. Got a few more pics off my Dads camera, including the blood from the day he shot it which was completely gone by the next day because of the heavy rain. Now I definitely feel confident this is the same deer we have a few from all summer and as recently as a few weeks ago Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. For sure! Say the guy is 72" tall, that big ole yellow perch is probably like 40"+ and around 11lbs. Shattering all records.
  3. I think he grosses 125-130
  4. For the experts out there, I'm curious what you think this 10pt. from PA would score? It appears his right side G4 is broken off. Thanks in advance.
  5. How do you make money? What are you selling? Actual deer or just deer cum? There is nothing about a product for sale on your site. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Don't forget side piece chicks. Everyone should bring their side piece girls too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Hot sauce, it's makes almost everything edible Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Mine is that the picture the OP posted is that of a coyote which weighs under 50lbs. I assume the guy in the picture killed this coyote, so why not just simply weigh it?
  9. We used to pay the $80-$90 for the entire deer butchered, but just don't care for the hamburger meat, etc. Now we just get it butchered for free (keep the backstraps, steaks, etc.) and donate the rest. I hear ya. He is no expert on deer meat, especially since we don't butcher ourselves and usually just eat the backstraps. He wasn't going to disagree with the guy. There was no shadiness, as my Dad helped the guy dump the entire carcass into a dumpster, so its not like anyone was trying to steal meat or anything like that. My Dad knows the guys on a personal level as he has used him for over 20 years.
  10. Just to clarify, my Dad did not make this decision. He knew it smelled a little funny, but is no expert. He brought to the butcher we always use. It was there, that the decision was made by the butchers. From what I was told, the butchers started pulling some hair and looked it over pretty good before making the determination.
  11. I'm not sure regarding a 2nd buck tag, but I doubt it. Otherwise, people could purposely let a deer rot to get a 2nd buck tag. My dad has 2 dmp tags and I have 1, but we never shoot does. Just get the tags incase we ever saw a piebald or albino doe. Regarding meet, we keep the good stuff like backstraps and donate the rest through the butcher to a food bank. 12. 11/25 and 11/26: no hunting since my Dad got his buck. I hope to hunt Thursday morning till 10am, but will see how much snow we get. 12" is what they are saying now but it's 55 degrees today so we will see. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  17. Nice, hope the hunter got some pics with himself next to the deer Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Finally talked to my Dad on the phone. Deer was an average size 2.5. Will get better pics later in week. The pic he sent me was after he dragged it through the 4' deep stream, plus it rained all night. Coyotes didn't get to it, but it didn't smell great and the butcher said it was not edible and they threw it in a dumpster after cutting off the antlers. Oh well, at least he found it. 21. Will get better pics later this week, but he did send me this one blurry one. Which I believe is this deer Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  23. Thanks all. Just got another voicemail. He found the buck around 12pm, and at 330pm he was finally back at the truck with it. I will see if he can figure out how to send me some pics tonight otherwise I will get them Wed or Thurs.
  24. I haven't talked to him, just got a voicemail, but with temps near 70 degrees today I wouldn't be surprised if the meat went bad. He did say it was pretty stiff. I guess when he gets to the butcher with it, he will find out. Regardless if the meat or good or not, I'm happy he found it, and I know he is very happy too.
