Just posted another picture off internet and my sample so your saying that gap is just part of the older design that got changed .

Ok could only find one good picture on the internet of these things and I dont see no gap like what I see in the ones I have

Dam was thinking something looked strange about them shells say one thing box says something different but there both old I dont even remember buying these things .

Here is the back of the box with what supposed to be in the slug . Looks like some of the spacer material is deteriorated away . Or they draw the diagram wrong .

Yea I'm thinking the same not taking the chance . I tried looking for a picture on the internet of what there supposed to look like when new but came up with nothing they dont make these anymore looks like or they changed the design from back then .

Have this box of 25 year old Winchester super x slugs That lost and just happened to have found recently in back of closet but it looks like part of the space material between the slug and powder is gone deteriorated but I'm not sure look like there is gap in there that was not there when they where new but I'm not sure .

In ancient times people use to kill big game with rocks slings spear atlatl but there was a lot more big game around at the time , they had all the time in the world to do it those people lived off the land to the point archaeologist could see the arm bones of the arm they used to hunt with those weapons would be bigger from all the practice they had with them . Actually I think he says he took the deer on a military base training soldiers how to survive but I'm not sure you got to watch all his videos somewhere in them he tells the story dont remember exactly which video it's in these are from 2012 . Different states have different types of laws so who knows.

His story goes that he smacked it dead center with the 50 cal lead ball shot from his slingshot right between his eyes then ran up to it and slit its throat with his knife. This guy is x speacel forces guy that teaches survival skills to people . The slingshot he uses is like supersize with like speargun rubber .
