    I really didn't notice difference deer tracks where there on public land i hunt in the same areas I always see them year after year .

    Bazaar if your there your there already its public land first come that day gets the spot . No reservations on state land No homesteading on public land.

    Just my theory dont know if you can ever prove this but , AR's may make bigger bucks that then just get taken out by people hunting illegally. So that's why most guys dont see much of a difference in those areas anyway. You are better off asking people to do it voluntarily.

    Dont know what to tell you if its that important to you consider buying better land some place else . I mean if hunting big bucks was easy you would not have whole industry and people paying thousands of dollars to do it . It is what it is

    If your hunting on private land how do you know these spikes are getting shot ? Like the idea of Self imposed AR as a good idea but forced I just dont like that idea at all , And its not really necessarily the big ones are out there .

    Not important, Hunt for food over a rack Just to let you know alot of those big racks you see on tv are comming from places where you have less then 1 hunter per square mile or high fence , HERE YOU WANT A challenge fred bear go shoot any deer on state land post a picture in front of the state land sign and you will get just as much respect that way from alot of other hunters who know the difficulties of hunting heavily hunted public land in this state ..

    Not necessarily Could be on top of a vehicle with the sign in the background Could also be in front of those those new york state trail markers Or Just any sign / land mark that shows you are on public land .

    Like to see a pictures of a deer taken on state land Rules take a picture of a deer In front of one of these signs , Any NY state land sign . Biggest doe or buck wins you can cut out the name of the state land sign if you want. 2 point deduction if we get a tie
