    I actually didn't see that part until later but its impressive all the same your good. that deer most of been thinking dam is this guy ever giving up at the end , deer probably just didn't want to run away from you anymore.

    My 81 year old Dad's new knee seems to be holding up fine . That's him in the distance we walked about 1.5 miles in Saw nothing but did see deer droppings so there in there somewhere.

    Nice cold day out heard 4 shot at about 630 Not as many people here as I was expecting many more last year

    Yep I can't remember a year that i didn't here gun shots before legal light and actually after on opening day

    Not me I love the cold for hunting no ticks !! Feels cold bring more clothes with you that's all . Sometimes feet and hands can be problem staying warm but other then that love it .

    Well was not sure until late last night but my 81 year old farther who had knee replacement surgery sept 3 wants to come with me . he probably get one before me

    I almost bought one the other day . Was not sure about how easy it is to find the ammo but apparently it's out there . The gun seemed a little to beat up for that price I think .

    O sorry was someone else that wanted his GPS track Don't know why I thought it was you , I think your post was after or before that one maybe and I got them mixed up . But anyway just pointing out that was not me that started asking questions about where and how far he walked . . .

    Cool thanks I appreciate the offer, My cousin is headed up that way he shot a nice 10 point up there one year he invited me but i I want to see if I can get one in 3n close by first . Since I have a doe permit there .and it's so much closer .

    If you like we can trade spots I will hunt from you nice backyard tree stand and you can walk a few Miles on public land and see how you do ? Actually even if you offered , I have no interest in that type of hunting . No offense .

    Large tracks of Public land old school hunting from the ground still hunting walking and stalking mostly . No cams no stands no backyards . Not that there is anything wrong with that . Hunt the way you like . When there is snow I do like buckmaster does but not 23 miles I will walk 2 3 hours from the road then if i can't catch up to them start back

    That's cool was in Florida few days ago and the guys there I know like to go to NC to hunt .

    And get this he teaches the hunter ed course out on long island lol I guess he needs new lessons on how to handle the wife during hunting season

    My cousins wife not letting him go for opening day lol Grounds for a divorce I think lol

    You better watch with some of these guys they think if you live south of the Tappan Zee Bridge you are suspect lol

    Well i think some of them think every place is teaming with wild game , I don't know if they know this but in certain areas when you hunt public success rates are very low you simply are not going to get something every time you go out . It is what it is . I like going out anyway when i can .
