For some reason, I really doubt any members of this forum went and hunted with you.

Of course, its 100% success rates. They are FENCED IN!

It's not hunting. The animal can't get away. The animal can only run to the fence line and that's it.

It puzzles me why anyone would be so quick to condemn something they've never tried....NOT all hunting in Texas is high fence, trust me, I've been there & done that.

This looks free-range to me, look at the background in many of the photos...hard to fence in country like that.

Agreed however these are in no way shape or form captive, released ect. This is 150 % fair chase. Aoudad are nomadic animals that can jump nearly 8 ft from a stand still. Nothing is guaranteed . This is by far the most challenging hunt in the state of Texas.

Tommy, if I was having horns for dinner, I probably would visit one of those, but I'm not.

Good thing about this sport is that it can accommodator a wife variety of different people, hunting for different reasons.

If your looking to hunt for dinner, bison meat is much better. Go on a Buffalo hunt and get 1800lbs of meat.

I'm just looking to do some legal hunting on the cheap. Not everyone needs extravagant hunts and meat to be happy.

But thanks for the advice. I've had bison steaks before, as well as buffalo.
