Hunting lisence

Im fairly new to hunting. Only been doing it for 3 years now and I thought that you couldnt get a new hunting license until October. Somebody just told me i could get it as early as september.......and thats when they give out the first set of doe tags. Is this true ?

Actually as eary as August.. Next month..

Same day you get your license you can apply for a DMP.

Then Nov. 1 you can see what tags are left over and reapply again for 2 more
