Just bought a Sony Handycam DCR-SX85 off of craigslist. Gonna make an attempt at filming my 2012 hunting season. Took some practice videos in the back yard of me and the kids with the bow's. At the end of the season I'll put them onto DVD for grins. Should be loads of fun

Can you post some of your practice videos? My buddy is in the market and is concerned about what happens when you shot. Can you hold it steady enough to see the arrow contact? I am assuming it is mounted to your bow.

No, it is a camcorder. I plan on using a tripod and a tree mounted camera arm durning the season.

Don't blow a chance at a big one just because you want it on film. Been there done that!

My dad made a mount that he could attach a camera to one of his rifles and his crossbow. Seems to work pretty good
