phade
This is a Basecamp lease...not a fan of such middle mans, but I know this ground as I used to hunt close by. Not a ton of trees to hunt, but it is covered up in deer, and I mean big ones. I hate it when there isn't a ton of "woods" but I can assure you that this ground has the deer. I'm not in a position to pay for this lease myself as I have two other leases already, but I'd be interested in spltting this one with a like-minded individual. http://basecampleasing.com/5316/Genesee-County-New%20York-Hunting-Lease.html
beachpeaz
Can 3 people hunt 44 acres?
phade
Can you clarify what you are asking? Are you asking if we can make a deal with 3 people? Or are you remarking at how many hunters they will lease on it? I'd certainly do a lease with a partner, but if it is three total, we'd have to talk about it to see what we can do. Culvercreek hunt club
They giving you access off 33?
phade
Don't know about the access specifically, but it appears access is from the W of the ground. Deer filter from the northern timber lots, but they bed in the grassy fields like it is going out of style there. It is a major chasing area...as in I've seen bucks keep does in the area all day long. Bucks cruise it for does a bunch. Culvercreek hunt club
It is a great funnel. I know right where it is. That Trruway is a great boarder and barrier but don't bother wearing you walker game ears...lol.
BizCT
$1250, sounds awesome. Too bad its so far from me or I would have thrown in.
WNYBuckHunter
I know right where that is. Wish I had the money this year, Id go in on it.
phade
Good lease...worth the cost when split w/2 people total. Two smart bowhunters with an afternoon set can pinch the bucks bedded assuming the traditional SW wind. They have nowhere to go. WNYBuckHunter
Yep. Would be a good setup for gun season as well
beachpeaz
So, I ask the question again, can 3 hunters share 44 acres? Or would there be a pissing contest over the 1 good spot? Serious question. That looks tight to split 3 ways.
phade
For three hunters, there'd have to be some compromise. It'd have to be a hunt smart scenario. Wouldn't work if this were the only spot for all three hunters. Could if it were part of a rotation (ie hunters had other parcels). Also, claiming "good" spots likely wouldn't be possible...it'd have to be a community thing. All set stands and agree to share/rotate and keep everyone informed. beachpeaz
ok, cool. Was just curious since there isn't a whole of of trees or area to spread out. I have driven by there many, many times and like others, have seen some nice bucks. I just don't have the time to have another hunting spot or I would definitely do it!!
