I will be out for my 2nd time of the season on Monday. My brother was out yesterday and saw 2 doe in the am hours.

Saw my first scrape tonight while going in to check a cam in one of my spots after work tonight. Good sign and a nice big rub

Wow crazy night. Spike came directly under my stand. Then I saw a buck coming from field but he took a different trail. Tried calling to him but lost him in laurels. Got down after shooting light slowly made my way out glasses field don't see anything so I proceeded out. Then bammm biggest buck I've ever seen must have been 20yards from me. Didn't know he was there till he busted. If I would have been in my other stand I would have had a shot at him. Damn! Walking out almost to my truck. And a deer comes running almost directly at me! Being chased by a fox. Never seen that before! Driving out pull in a field they always hang out in and what do you know

This guy is sparring with a spike. Man I wish I was able to get out tomorrow am.

Didnt see anything this morning. Im in my favorite spot right now for afternoon. Ground is covered with acorns and rubs and tracks everywhere. I saw a buck and some does coming in hopefully it will be a good afternoon.

seems like the activity is picking up. seen handfull of does yesterday morning and shot one of them. Butchered it, vacuum sealed it, got it in the freezer and was back out this morning. Went to a different spot that I had a world of confidence in. but Didn't see anything. Then on the way out I noticed 2 hunters walking out. judging from where they came from, I think they were hunting two stands that were up to the north of me, essentially, cutting me off, wind-wise. This could have explained the lack of action. who knows...

Hope to get out tomorrow afternoon after I get this doe head to check station. good luck guys.

saw a spike running a doe and came into my bleet can after... saw one deer in the AM and spike and a doe at 430 and a huge 8 i shot at at 615. see my thread on that story. bummed out right now...

I saw so many deer this afternoon i lost track of what was what. So a ton of does and then saw two different six's one which was chasing the does around like crazy the stayed under my stand eating acorns for about 20 min. Also saw a really small spike and 4 pointer. Right at dark i had a nice big six come in but im holding out for something bigger. Hoefully the action will be good again tomorrow with the high winds they are predicting. Good luck tommorow Geno. I hope you find that big 8!!!!

Sounds like you had a busy day John. I hope I get some action tomorrow. A couple of my buddies were out today....they saw a nice 7 pointer and then a group of 6 does real late. Good luck tomorrow.

Sounds like a lot of activity this weekend. I hunted public land in PA on Saturday. I didn't see anything. I am going to be hunting LI this weekend, hope I don't get soaked.
