noodle one
Anyone own or have used a Cyclone lawn vac? I have been reading about them and am thinking about getting one. The only hold up is the fact that I will only need to use it once or twice a year. I have two acres of lawn with a lot of oak and maple and the leaves cover the ground in the fall and if I don't get them up they kill my lawn in the spring. It is a lot of money just to pick up leaves.
WNYBuckHunter
You might be better off to get one of those pull behind lawn sweepers. I think they are only @ $

I think they are only @ $150 wet leaves are too much for them. My neighbor uses a vac with a seperate hose and motor to pull around and does 4 acres. it is amazing. It will suck the ants right out of the colonies...lol
growalot
Why not just mow them...it mulches them up so they decay faster...and helps feed the lawn and worms....You can mow in a direction that ends up win rowing(sp) them ....if you have too many it's easy to rake onto a tarp and drag off to curb or compost for flower/veggie gardens

WNYBuckHunter
Thats no fun though lol. Honestly I need it for the grass clippings more than leaves. You should see the amount of thatch in the grass out back. I can only imagine how big the pile of crap is gonna be when I dethatch it. oneidacountyhunter
I considered buying one as well, cheaper than the DR version but still about a grand. Just can't bring myself to spend that kind of money on raking leaves LOL
