Contributing predominately to this is a biased political news/MSM.  The science/technology skeptics he speaks of need to be the people giving us (Americans) the news, which unfortunately needs to be seeked out via other media like the internet.   Now imagine a government that wants to shut down that other media, oh wait, you don't have to imagine.
