Lot of carryover birds for fall and hopefully next spring..  i am dissappointed in fawn count so far.  My oldest known doe ( now 6) only has a single this year as do a few others  many are barren or lost fawns..

What happened, guys have no interest?

No interest,   i took out friend on his property and was sucessful.  Then i had other projects to do. Cutting lumber, fixing equipment / vehicles, garden boxes, ect...

Family went out opening weekend and then was busy with scouts, eagle project ect.. niece did miss youth season and  nephew on opening weekend.  Others in camp just havent hunted birds since the late 90s early 2000s .

  Hunting in general has become a back burner item  for me, i enjoy the habitat work and  younger hunters  now.  And cameras are more fun for me than cleaning and cutting up game.
