hey guys sorry for the demanding title but im leaving in like 10 minutes.. im going to go try and get myself a yote. i have some old meat that i left out by accident and it reeks.. is there any laws about using it for coyotes as bait? ive never heard of one and cant find one anywhwre

i dont think there are any laws whatsoever for coyote except the normal 500' rule. Generally i wouldn't hunt them during deer though unless you really have too.

Go ahead and use it. I put gut piles out as yote bait so rancid meat is no different.

the way i see it is, im not seeing deer might as well go hunt some yotes. plus theres only an hour left of light and my bow is in the trunk of the car over 2 hours away

thanks.. i didnt think there was since you can hunt gut piles... with my luck though ill be out with the gun and see a deer and not be able to take him

you know what they say though, you'll probably see a giant buck and no deer. that's what happens to me during turkey
