Hey Black Rifle Guys, ammo question here?

Recommended Posts

We are no doubt heading in to some rough times here guys(sorry Doewacker i know we are all nutZ and just paraniod) but im seeing bans on ammo and quantity limits and poss bans on internet sales ahead. What ammos do you think they will ban, 7.62x39? I dont think they can ban .223 right?

The 7.62 because its basically AK ammo and they could easily ban importation and most of it comes from overseas.

Will .223 be the ammo of choice because thats what our military uses and there will always be some type of availability. Im seeing that .223 is almost totally unavailable right now

I was reading, on line yesterday, that part of Finestiens propsel is targeting pistols and semi auto rifles "capable of accepting magazines that hold more than 10 rounds".. Any magazine fed firearm is "Capable" of accepting bigger mags.

If that in fact is the case, who knows what calibers they might ban.

They cannot ban any ammo in general. Too many bolt guns are chambered for 7.62x39 and are used for hunting. What they can do is tax the hell out of it, cause massive paperwork requirements to buy it and limit how many rounds you can have in your home at any one time.

None of that should be acceptable to any American citizen that has any common sense.

P.S. I could probably get 1000 rounds of any cartridge tomorrow, either in a store or online. I just won't pay the high prices they are asking for it at this time. But, then again, I don't see the prices coming down, I see them going up.
