LI gas shortage... here we go again

Many stations are out of fuel, or filled with long lines of cars looking for fuel. I hope this doesn't turn out to be a big problem like the Sandy fiasco.

The lines were crazy last night. I didn't even wait i have 3/4 of a tank and i couldn't see myself waiting online to fill up. Its only snow and it will be in the 40's by Sunday. I guess Sandy really scared people and everybody wants to be prepared now.

Everyone is filling gas cans for their generators. I think it's the predictions for power outages that has everyone panicking.

Same here on LI. Crazy lines to get gas. Supermarket lots were packed with people waiting to get into the lot. No worries here. Both cars were gassed up couple days ago and snow blower yesterday. Wood in the garage for my wood stove and slow cooking pork roast for pulled pork tonight. With temps going into the high 40's on Monday through Wednesday all this predicted snow will be a memory.

people just get in line because they see lines and then feel compelled to get in line. I needed gas last night to get to work today, and the person in front of me put 1.3 gallons in their car.
