Property to improve deer herd health....most ppl go with the health being great food ...good soils...but do you consider other things that effect herd health?...Does your property have the correct or ample amount of wild plants to deter worms? Have you ever even thought about that?...here is a list of such plants...

Plants that grow in most of North America with deworming properties include blackberries, raspberries, young ash and elder roots and shoots. Additional plants that help fight off internal parasites include yarrow, calamus, agrimony, calendula, blue cohosh, hemp, pokeweed, knotgrass, bloodroot, rue, skullcap, skunk cabbage (also skunk weed), nettle, valarian, periwinkle and verbena.

Also on a moist morning one can sprinkle Diatomaceous earth over a plot. Mugwort (worm wood) and planting sainfoil and trefoil.

Treating stagnant water with a small amount of skeeter dunk...adding solar water fountains to small watering tubs.....Adding bat houses to your plot perimiters...Swallow nesting boxes....purple marten boxes.

Just ideas to think about
