  1. Well some good news is Marlin ended up in Rugers hands.... Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  2. Your fear of public land is unfounded for the most part...the past few years you could count the number of shots opening weekend on one hand. Lots of state land out there, scout around, find a place off the hard roads... take a freind and enjoy. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  3. Hansel and Gretel, my 9 yr old beagle/doctson mix with thier little brother Onyx.. 100% American Akita..(he was 3 months in the first pic.. 2nd pic 7 months...100 lbs... Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

  6. I've seen alot of advertising for pig hunts in Texas lately... and cheap... I'm assuming the Corona crap has buisness st slow down... Has anyone had any experience with outfits down there that were good or bad? Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  7. Here my take on it.... I hunt 7m, this year exclusively. I did not fill a tag, my choice. I passed on alot of doe, and 2 buck that needed a couple more years. Targeted 1 mature 10 point (second year search) he one.... again. The complaints I have noticed boil down to management tactics... Population is high... Dec issues alot of DMPs... I belive this was year 4. 7m offers ALOT of state land with reasonable access. So the past 4 years pressure and take on these areas was very high... Deer aren't dumb... they move deeper, or low pressure private, so now the easy pickings are no longer there. Get off the beaten path, move to the fringes, and the deer were there. Just my take. 8. Interesting way of tracking and eradicating.... Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  9. Well there is this theory.... Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  10. A friend of mines dad past a few years back.... he had subscribed to 3 or 4 hunting magazines and playboy since the mid 60s and kept them all... after his passing my friend had a yard sale and put the full collection out for sale... 2nd customer coughed up $2500 for all of it.... who knew??? 11. Possibly.... the problem is that is the fix a flat soaks into the rubber, its impossible to get clean enough for the glue to stick... will also void any tire warranty.. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  12. Very creative.... I like it! Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  13. Need to institute a no smoking rule in the bathroom...[emoji16] let us know what you find.. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

  15. Depends on what it is. Calcium chloride has its moment in the spotlight, it increased the calcium content, but did nothing for the pH. Calcium carbonate can affect both, as a calcium fertilizer and pH adjuster... however there is no magic here. You still need product... and lots of it. It carrys the same weight/pH adjustment as lime. So if you need 1 bag of lime, you need the same 1 bag of calcium carbonate... where this is a real time saver is when you are soil conditioning while planting, such as a hydoseeder or liquid tanks on a no-til. The calcium carbonate seems to dissolve in water quicker, and seems to stay in suspension better at higher load rates, but I have run pelletized lime through my sprayer before with reasonable success... Hope this helps.. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  16. That's why I bought the Champion 2000 inverter....... Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  17. Property values suck in upstate... sale of the timber is cash in hand... you may get more for the property with the timber on it but the question is will you get as much or more than if you sell the timber and property separately..... Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  18. Or the kid keeps it pent up until they 1, step in front of a bus or 2, walk in strapped like rambo... it does make for a very sad state of affairs.... Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  19. Mom had one... kept the squirrels out of the bird feeder.... I'm of view 'it's worth what someone will give you for it', that being said, gun broker listing with actual bids is about what it's worth. If I could actually get what blue book was on what in my case, I would retire. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  20. All I can say is thank GOD shes using condoms..... Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  21. I have a champion 2000w watt inverter... so far 2 seasons running the camper every weekend mid may to mid September... it's still quiet, runs everything but the A/C. About 2 gallons of gas a weekend by starting for coffee 8n the morning, and shutting it off at dark, after dinner. Was very leery to spend $500 on anything from champion but so far its delivered as promised. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  22. Use this as an excuse to buy more guns..... I like it!![emoji16] Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  23. If its signed by a non-elected official... is it still valid??? Not trying to ramp anyone up, just really would like to know if it would be.. she is not a representative in NYS.... Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  24. 3 gallons of charcoal fluid???? Tiki fluid works much better... you only need a gallon!![emoji16] but on a more suggestive note.. I always carry a first aid kit with me. And one thing always in it is hand sanitizer. For some reason when you get cut in the wood it's never a sanitary situation, and as an add on benefit a little in a piece of cotton, cloth, or paper towel and it catches a spark very well even when wet... one of thoughts multi use carry along. 25. Mine is a late '60s tube feed.. bought it from a pawn broker off of gun broker.. it was almost a 2yr process following alot of auctions until I got one priced where I thought it should be.. the carbine is not a tack driver by any means but its accurate enough, and the results are absolutely devastating. Deer fall down on the spot..period... even with less then perfect shots. Its short compact design makes it an absolute joy to carry in the woods. Only downfall is 75 to 100 yards max. But that's where most deer are shot so it fills the bill well! Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
