TurkeyHuntPA_NY
Doesn't look like he is quite ready to rock n roll yet. Which is good for us. Mark my words. If it stays in the 50s the next week or so, and IF it hits 70s the first week of hunting season, its game on! The birds will be so fired up! josephmrtn
Yesterday I heard a tom gobbling in the field right across the rd (one of the ones we are in the process of buying) so I threw on a camo T-shirt and ran over there with my turkey call (box) I started calling from behind a little point of brush and called him into about 5 or 10 steps... but then he moved away and started circling up out of the field into the woods looking for the sexy hen he heard (LOL I'm not a good caller, esp when my call is running low on chalk) and I quietly stood and walked out before he could bust me... he kept gobbling and struting for a long time after I left trying to get the hen (me) to come to him... (i think he had 1 hen with him but I didn't see clearly)
