get one of those MR CLEAN bleach pads from walmart... they will take sharpie off anything.... except antler darn found that out when my little sister decided one of the the racks in my room looked better red.... a lot of work w a grinder, wire wheel and sand paper and you can still slightly see it...

Nail polish remover will take off sharpie from anything, just put some on a q-tip. Turkey have great vision.they will see that shine before you think they are close enough to see it. 1 To 2 miles away. Really even when your walking! That's why a lot of turkey guns are inodized.
