Who is lucky enough to have hunted this morning in PA? Looks like a blue bird day so the weather can't be an excuse!

I know Pygmy is hunting across the boarder in Canada and a friend is in PA, no reports from either one, yet!

Lawdwaz, Don't you usually go to PA for turkeys? whats up ? Are you going on the 1st?

We did. A bachelor flock of 5 with one bearded hen hung up at 70 yards, what else is new... Lots of other birds gobbling in all directions. All kinds of birds looking for hens - we also heard one snipe, two woodcock, and a bunch of grouse all around us.

It's been a few years since I've gone back to Pennsylvania for spring gobblers. If I did really good here and filled both tags, I might entertain thoughts of heading down though.
