 Thanks, only a farmer or food plotter would notice and can apprecate a good rock pile...lol ...all picked by hand loaded onto tractor , back breaking work...This year think I'll pick up a york rake to save some time and my back..lol..

lol.  After years of picking rocks my rock piles will be put to use this year.  I need to build some retaining walls around the house.

Looks good! How big is that clover plot? Just curious as to how it holds up to the heavy grazing by all those does.

My oldest son picks rocks from rock piles and finds all sorts of uses for them .

Pav, the plot is about 1/2 acre and holds up pretty well, so well that we need to mow it as the grazing alone doesn't keep the clover short. Also have to keep in mind that I'm in an Agricultural area and also have tons of apple trees around, plenty around for them to browse, I also put in a brassica plot come late summer which helps supplement the deer's available food choices.

Fasteddie, I agree there are many uses for the rocks, I use mine predominately as a base so I can get my tractor across my stream, keeps things from getting muddy and provide much needed traction.
