Late Planting the plots......

This is the first year in many that I haven't planted all my summer plots.  Still need to get in 3 acres more of corn and two acres more of soybeans.  Anyone else behind?

We started a very small plot up by me this year. Still in the process of clearing and picking rocks. its about 1/3 of an acre and i think we will end up planting it in clover this fall.  Good luck getting the rest of your plots in!!!

We have had 4" of rainfall here, since last Thursday. To say, the word is wet grounds would be an understatement. Scraped plans for field corn, but going to get some popcorn in by the 10th, hopefully. My pumpkin ground is worked, but held off planting till this weekend, yeh right. We have already had .65 of an inch since 7 am this morning. I'll summer fallow what I don't get planted, and put in more radish, oats, forage corn, and wheat in late August.

yea its wet!  I'm putting in my pumkins 6/15 and some sweet corn.

Got the slay down yesterday for the clover , and the wintergreens/trunips planted today .

It's a walk behind ariens rt5020. 

 

Belt drive - so when it finds roots or rocks that it can't move or chew through (no shortage of) it doesn't leap/launch & piss me off.

G2 Yes it is . This is my second year at it and trying figure it out. I will say planted greens and turnips last year and the deer slamed it .Still have more to go in the ground I'll do that in a month.

I wanted to plant some Egyptian wheat, but it was either windy or raining when I had the chance.

About the same time june 6 .  they were in it all summer once the frist frost hit they went nuts for it!
