to bow opener in SZ. God it felt like October this morning when I took my dog out - crisp, cool, yet cloudy. But I took one look at the crabgrass that overtook my lawn the past few weeks and I was brought back to reality.

9/16 in CT! I'm pumped, took that Monday off from work to hunt opening day of my first ever hunting season in CT.

Bird preserve's open 9/1 and I don't really have an off season any more between dog training and every thing else hunting and outdoors related so 10/1 can take its time getting here.

I wish I had more time to devote to other pursuits, but my fall chase for deer drives me 365. Not enough hours in the day or free passes from the wife.

Amen to Southern Zone bow opener!  From what I've seen, should be some excellent hunting this year, and it all starts October 1st. Chewing at the bit, LOL.
